The dragon is a great addition to the game, however it will be weeks or even months before enough players are ready to take it on. I don't see why this project should not have been put on the back burner. Open the server, and work on it. Implementing it much later.

Grumble grumble..

Still looking forward to the server opening, but it is an open forum. A lot of things worthy of praise here, but criticism as well.

What a hideously short sighted statement.

DAoC was what it was BECAUSE it could satisfy PvE, PvP, and crafting, and they all depended on one another in a complex harmony.

When DAOC pushed any of those too far into the front, the game suffered for it. I loved the raids in this game and thought they were some of the best in the industry, and they were a nice distraction for PvP guilds during downtime, or to get respec stones.

They're important, one of the 3 pillars that make up DAoC.

So how did it go? Any game breaking bugs, or working as intended ?

Thank you all for helping and trying today!
We actually found some issues we already expected to be a problem in a livelike raid scenario.

Hopefully we can get these issue addressed/sorted out before the next test(s).

In Inotor's stream Cuuldurach has the old model. I guess it has to do with him choosing the "old model" for characters too.

Hi Equade,

Players have the option via our launcher to choose classic or new models for mobs.

Its an option in the launcher.

Go to https://uthgard.org/home

Then click the + next to Play up top.
AFter that click Launcher settings.

There you have the "Classic Monster Models" options. Should be one of those.

I had Full Classic enabled and i saw the old Dragon model.
