they havent even said they will implement them or work on implementing them - they are still just listening on player feedback and probarbly internal discussion of our feedback I am sure they understood VWs need looked upon if old RAs get implemented

as far as the roll back to 1.65 goes i think as far as ra's go would be a good idea but you should keep the VW class the same, if you change the way VW's are a lot of people that play a VW as main would either leave uthgard or spam this site everyday till its changed i myself would leave for the reason i have spent way to much time and money on my char for it to be nerfed so really think about this... i respect your changes as far as RA's and stuff but i feel it would be unfair to VW's with the change or atleast give them some kind of compensation but besides all that i am wondering IF you do decide to make these changes will the archer class be the way they was on live for 1.65? thanks , Vorird 50 VW

i don't know what will be the effect of the leveling area in "home zones"...

maybe some people that just want free RPs will go there to farm RPs will go there when to many people in agramon. and people that wanna do rvr will stay in agramon.

i hope the rvr will keep focused on agra to get some nice rvr. but maybe deleting boats would be a nice idea, so people that wanna go in the home zones would have to cross agra and so improve the rvr action there.

at the moment you just use boat to go to home keep to find some inc. and so rest of the map is totaly useless...
maybe there could be taxi horses that would travel in agra and you can be attacked on horse after the mile gate...

i don't what can be done, but something must be done

Returning to 1.65 would also means removal of buffshears if i'm not wrong... Think I would never play my cleric again if that would happen, it would become the most boring class ever without shears ^^ Nothing else to do than healing...
Druid at least has root / ae root but still boring...

Fortunately I still have a valewalker... hm... it would just get a delete I think :p (aerynn said all about this class)

So well, I think that 1.65 is not a good idea :roll:
I am assuming direct control.

I like the idea of the old RAs being thrown back in. I am unsure about going back to 1.65 though.

Ok, good to hear that u're listening ^^.

But, does that listener mode also involve the RvR mechanics? :P

Well the reason why i brought up the ideas of BG's and special bonuses for particular spots on the maps are that you folks keep complaining about lack of action due to people not having a place (bottle neck) to meet up at or find easy action, even though nothing has changed from before except now that it takes maybe 3 minutes or so to get to the old camp spots by the mile gates. This, in my opinion just seems like laziness on part of the players. If people dont want to take the 3 minutes horse ride to the mile gates (natural bottle necks) then I don't see why people would be against BG's which are a source of much more convenient access to action. If people are really THAT fond of rvr in agramon, then in my opinion, just add particular bonuses to certain spots in agramon (the radius around a mile gate as an example) and then that ought to start the flame that attracts the moth.


As for other classes that get affected by downgrading the features to 1.65...

archers get really screwed over with this as well. Volley would be moved from bow spec down into a purchasable RA costing 8 rps for 5 shots where as the current ability offers 6 and only requires bow spec. Archers also lose the ability Sure Shot (patch 1.69 addition) Furthermore, falcon eye would be reduced in effectiveness to a maximum of 25% chacne to crit compare to the current 39%. This is all without having an increase to bow damage to compensate. If that werent enough, stealth movement speed and detection would be decreased since archers dont get MOS. The only plus to this would be true sight (see all hidden characters) but that only lasts 60 sec and is on a long reuse.

I'm sure there are other classes hit by the change...

And what do you want to offer/give thoose classes? If you give away SOS like from mincer i bet it won't see any party at Lvl50 RvR... Overpowered or powerful... Depends on view... I think if you starting remove some RAs you will do more problem/whine/dmg to the community then solve problems.

on horse prices - isnt RR enough restrictment to getting them? ^^ I mean if im RR10 and get a unicorn isnt the RR and horse enough work without having to farm 30p? ^^

A good change would be the boats. The requirement for a rvr boat to travel should be 4 or more players. If you change that i think we get our bottlenecks again, and it wont restrict groups to travel to the keep zones.

Edit: the grp players should be ckecked if zoned to the boat spot.

that might be a good idea (it also forces people to grp up if they wanna avoid bridge campers


however - a horse route from Nged/bold/glen would be needed to avoid solos being stuck running from those keeps -> crauch/bled/beno

btw maybe put in both BP and gold costs for boats/horses? so people can decide if they wanna spend gold or BP on transport

I think prices are okay. Those horses are endgame-content. If you think reaching 15P is impossible, simply take the 1P rvr-horse until you've reached the impossible.
