Today at 09:35 (GMT +1) again the server crashed. We assume it was caused by a defect harddrive again. Unfortunately the last database backup is 3 days old. We will have to wait for the hoster to maintain the server. We are sorry for any inconvenience and hope for a soon solution.

Curious to know that 3 days have been lost, and yesterday the normal reboot to back things up that are done every-day; are lost as well?

If this is so then there must be another way to handle this without having to lose 3 days. I for one would be glad to offer any support which may include finance. To lose 3 days can be prevented and I am sure that you guys have thought about this and if so I like to help out if it requires finance.

3 Days will hurt many of us who have taken the time to get these important drops and not to mention leveling up. I would hope there maybe someway when this server has been resolve to make it up some how in anyway you can if possible. For one thing MP items that are made from crafters is not easy to come and that hurts a lot because at times it would take me over 60 tries to get a MP.

I will just send extra money I understand this takes time and can be consuming but I would hope in the future that this can be prevented at a much lower rate of time.

The problem is we make backups only on every 3rd reboot to keep reboots fast. Backups take quite some time. The worst case would be 3 day loss. It doesnt have to be that much but you should be prepared.

Currently I'm not sure whats the problem. I can't reach the server with the remote software.

That sux hardly .... i have played more then 12 hours and now this will be gone in about few minutes .... It is insane

regarding my personal loss i can live with "not that fast reboots".

please make a backup every day, i'm sure the community can live with longer reboots ensuring more data-safety.

Just great. Lost 700 in tailoring, 200 diamond seals, lvl 45 and 5 bubs in 46, staff, bracer and ring... I can live with longer back up times as long as the data can be more secure, because this sucks
