Hello community,

today we have received first bugreports considering client version 1.95. We are currently working on a solution of the following listed problems.

Error concerning the positional view of characters:

So far we have mentioned the following errors.

- A still standing player using client version 1.95 will be displayed as "immersed into the ground" for players that are using client version 1.91 or lower.

- A still standing player using client version 1.91 will be displayed as "floating in the air" for players that are using client version 1.95.

Error concerning finish of a quest:

Players using client version 1.95 are currently not able to finish quests. They will receive error messages of our TA-system. By now we are not fully aware on how far this error is reproducing itself. Errors within Tajendi could be possible (especially considering the exp-quest). We are working on a solution and are going to inform you as soon as we have solved the issue.

Update on housing:

We are currenlty facing some issues with housing and 1.95.

We are working on that and recommend you not to modify the NPCs/Vaults on your househookpoints. You may not be able to place them again onto a hookpoint or seeing a message telling you that this is a vault hookpoint only.

We will inform you about the status within the next days.

Short update tutorial and reason for the need to patch:

Even though the problems are annoying, we would like to ask you to patch to the newest version. One of the most important reasons is the error concerning the positional view of other players which caused a lot of problems within Wilton. In addition we are going to set client version 1.95 as requirement to connect in the near future.

To start the update process simply execute the "camelot.exe" file within your games directory. If you are using a custom UI and/or custom icons we suggest to first make a backup of them as these files will be replaced by official files.

Important: After updating your client you will need to reinstall the craftfix and tajendi as these files will also be removed during the update process.

Craftfix
Tajendi

Update: Due to problems with different displayed positions, it is no longer possible to play with other versions than 1.95 (current European Liveversion) after the next serverrestart. In such cases we stay up to date with the official clientversion so new players can still join the game.

With regards
Your staff

yes would it be possible to re-implement /qtd? It makes it hard to rage quit when I have to wait 30+ seconds :P

/qtd is on client side, not the server's.

Since the new version disallows using /qtd and thus it isnt even transmitted, is it possible to change the command on the serverside? a small change like /qtdu or whatever should not be that much work for you and would remove that stupid alteration.

If i'm interpreting right you want to get a command which makes the server kick your char? That's highly abusable in RvR so i don't think this is gonna be implemented.

If you're in that much of a hurry you can still use task manager - it's like alt+tab + 2 clicks and you get same result as /qtd.

taskmanager -> pew pew game.dll

easy when you play windowed mode.

what really sucks is the fact that you cant set the starter points your self !

stones for that are useless now too? what if you have some in vault, are you planning to give any refund for that?

You can, just check the huge adjust-button in the character creation screen.
