Hello Uthgard
Daocportal is currently down. If you still want to play, you can do this:
Start daocportal and click on Custom Shards.
Right-click in the window and choose Add Server.
Now fill in:
Name: Uthgard
Description: not needed
IP or Hostname: 88.198.56.21
Port: 10300
Save it and have fun playing.

Its no difference if you add Uthgard as Custom Server. So it should be working like it did before.

it seems that the new DAOC Portal download no longer includes the DOLLoader file that should be in the "contents" subfolder.
you can get it here:
http://www.dolserver.net/releases/files/dolloader.exemake sure you place it in the contents folder
ie:
"C:\Program files\DAOC Portal\contents\"

Did you ever connect to Uthgard with the same DAoCPortal installation you use now?

make sure you configure the client location.
File --> Settings --> Client --> DAoC Installation
browse to the DAOC installation folder, choose the Expansion and Language then click Patch on the Patcher section.
It should then say that it has to update; on the update screen click cancel and it should be done.
well thats what i do anyway
