I'm fairly new to Albion and I'm not sure what caster I want to roll, Is there a caster which doesn't rely to much on a pet, if at all and still be pretty kick ass in PvP? and could you recommend a good spec? thanks

Sorcerer, cabalist and theurgist are good. If you want one that doesn't rely too much on his pets I'd recommend sorc, but it's the slowest one to xp I think. In any case don't make a wizard
Common specs for sorc are 44 mind / 31 body and 37 mind / 39 body.

if you roll a sorc you should go 37mind/39body until you have a high rr, because otherwise you wont hit 51 body and the body-nuke isnt that cool if not capped.

on the other hand 44mind has better cc but i would prefer the better nuke with a lower rr

other question: I´m currently lvling a sorc myself and think matter would be cooler for pve so is there any matter spec which is still viable for bgs?

and was there ever a discussion about a "tri-sepc" sorc?
something like 33matter/28body/32mind (obv a high rr would be needed)?

27 body is needed for the first matter-debuff 32 mind for the highest charm and 33 matter for dots and stuff

ot sorc:
you need to decide if your gonna play in 8man or solo/duo/trio

for 8man and you being low rr 44/31 because you gonna be main cc, thats the way to go (should only respec to body when higher in rr )
for solo/duo/trio 37/39 pretty much stays that spec all the time, but imo not good for 8v8

You haven seen mentalism or light spec of menta.

Ronia, Menta with light specc is real nice. Mentalism isnt that good except demezz and maybe single mezz that's right =)
