hey there,

I was just wondering, what's the use of +spirit for a spirit cabalist...as I will spec to 46 in spirit, I will have 50 (for focus and thus spell-cost) by RR only RR4 and +1 in on items...so what's the use to have +11 spirit on items?

same goes for matter if I dont need better dot-damage and only use L11-NS and base-self-shields (11 spec + 11 from items + say 4-5 from RR is ~26 which is of no use for focus and thus spell cost)...

so should my later sc-temp have +spirit (more than +2 or something) and +matter? I can only think of +11 body for dmg-variance and spell-cost for the L50 life tap...

any hints? thanks! :)

edit: as it is not a "real" SC-temp question but rather a caba-specific skill-question, I put it here - if some staffy thinks it would fit better in the SC-part -> feel free to do whatever staffies do in such a case ;)

+skill will increase the damage of your base spells, if you're not concerned with dot dmg, then +matter shouldn't be a concern, as +matter has no affect on base shields. +body is a must for obvious reasons (LT). Personally when doing a template I try to max out +skills as much as possible even "if" I think I won;t need them just in case of respec issues. You honestly will never know when you're going to feel the need to change specs for a given situation.

As for the low lvl NS, MoF2-3 will improve that by a large margin.
Alb - Eternitys, Eternityz, Spectres, Prophecy, Phantasm, Swarm
Mid - Spheres, Cicada, Aalea

Eternitys - If were allowing custom changes, why would the staff choose to remove a very very good and highly accepted custom change such as barrels? Then on top of that, use the "it's livelike" excuse as a reason for removing them? If staff are so concerned about livelike and that's the direction the staff wish to go, I'd fully support a 100% livelike server. However if there are custom changes on the server, then using the "livelike" excuse is being nothing more then hypocritical.

Staff - Locked!

I had 3 cabas on one of the old german servers and all were RR5 (each had a different full spec), so I guess I can really say, that I wont respec to anything but maybe body (matter cabies make me sick, played one long enough brrrr)

I've been wondering for a while how low level spells are resisted "more often" than higher ones...never really understood that...also in Braemar I never noticed that my base-line DD (some 28ish spell) got resisted more often than the level 3 disease...just wondering...is there a formula or something?

thanks :D
