solo pve as pala....AND 2H?

Im trying to solo pve my pala as most of the time, when Im on, not that many groups of same lvl are going on.
it;s painfully slow as you might know, so i was wondering is it possible to solo pve as a 2H paladin rather than s/s? would damage be any different? would you still be able to solo oranges and come out unscratched? has anybody tried it? thanks for all info |

Sure you can solo, but as the 2H spec is bugged with a kinda low dmg it still be painfull

2h ist not buggy... who told you that?
i think that 2h palas are a whole bug but that's another topic
i don't think that solo pve with a 2h pala would be as "easy" as 1h/shield cause the defence is what makes your pala unscratchable. i've never tried it and i wont try it but i am pretty sure that you aren't gonna have fun with it. |

so without a shield pala wouldnt be able to survive as much?
i wonder if its possible to chain yellows at least, as a 2h pala using all chants. i just want to find a faster way to lvl pve |

If you use chants you can't use 2h at the same time, chants will drain all your endurance.

cant i just swing without using any styles? would the damage be high enough?

You can but it's not worth it. 2h damage relies only on styles, unstyled hits are just terrible, even lower than a 1h styled hit.

I have a 2h pally, and as long as i twist i seem to do well, i always thought i should be doing more damage, makes sense if its broken, i have a problem making nothing but gimp chars and not knowing until later.

exactly. i've played 2h pallies before (live) and since you're waiting longer in between swings, you're given more time to regenerate endurance. |
