Hi guys, first post, please be gentle

I looked up the current rules for Auto Training (there are MANY old versions out there!) and thought I would give it a crack.

My Pally is now 38 and I have auto trained the whole way.

Everything is going fine and I am not really missing the Slash and Chant points. I am getting resaonable XP and levelling just fine.

So the question is, if I am getting XP, and getting levels, and Maces are working out fine for me, and I can survive on lower level Chants... why wouldn't I autotrain for a lot longer yet?

I have read many opinions about it, and many people suggest I should have stopped autotraing before now, but then others say, do it as long as you can handle it?

The longer I go, the more benefit I get right?

Thanks for advice.

(Edited due to overly wordy and needless length).

I think you answered your own question, if you can handle it, go for it. I personally didn't see the need for AT, points-wise also I leveled with friends where my endu was needed, but again, if you can pull it off there is nothing wrong with having extra points on level 50.
And if at some point before 50 you decide to stop autotraining, you won't lose that much, couple points in slash or parry at most.

OK, well, thanks for that. That is kind of what I thought. I can always respec eveything later if it gets too hard anyway I guess.

Yeah, in the end, I don't think it will grant me any great gain, however, even just for the exercise, I wanted to try it out.

Thanks for your answer.
