My clever acronym was "State of The Beta?"
Whatup, so I came and was on Uthgard during beta, was enjoying it. Rolled Hib first but came home to Albion after getting a bard to 30 something a couple months ago.. Got busy with RL and haven't been around since a few days before i30 was introduced, but have been informed about i50 etc. It seems like not many people are on lately playing the i50 which prompts the question- How many among us, myself included, are not really bothering until the server goes live? I'm content to wait until then, but my likelihood of playing once it goes live is 100% -Snoog Snoogs 50 Savage

Beta is beta and people is somewhat bored.
Some are running Emain or crafting or doing epic quests but the majority is just waiting for the full release. |

The only problem is, were crying for them to release the server.. when we know there are still some bugs lingering. Maybe they can get the major ones done within those 2 weeks leading up to the actual release and thats up to them to decide. But we all know if they release the server with some big bugs, were going to ****** and complain again and again on these forums calling this server the next Genesis. We need to be careful what we wish for. At the same time. I'll take a full release now and some of these bugs dont really bother me, they will be dealt with in time. I played the server with people already super high RR doesnt bother me if they get a little ahead because of some bugs in the begining.

Enjoyed the i50 / RR5 side of things as it allowed me to try all sorts of different toons / builds / skill lines and RA's that I would not normally make if the game was 'live'.
I appreciate that the gear handed out was perhaps not up to some peoples standards ![]() However I will confess to getting a little beta'd out now as I have tried most permutations of what is available (on all 3 realms). I think people have voted with their feet and are simply doing other things waiting for full release. The declining population is clear evidence of this. In saying all this I do feel that the sheer number of reported issues show that people have at least tried to assist in testing / bug fixing which is good. Roll on launch day ![]() |
