when were the chants on back-to-back durations?

some chants are 8 sec, i think most are now. some are 6.5 some were 5sec

so what were the correct duration's for paladin chants?
as your chants are wrong, so is your ability to heal with the chant

What effect did Taunt used to have?

here's a clue, it was very noticeable on any giant as it scaled, but caused the most effective visual change to all it was casted on, to a point of blocking light for just a moment.
