Could use some advice on picking the best class that fits the mold as closely as possible... I'll try to be as objective as possible so as to clearly convey my point and give you guys a better idea of what I'm looking for..

I like to be self reliant or play with the small groups of people I have fun with. Not much of a zerger, skirmish or solo pvp is much more preferred.

Let me preempt the whole, WHY PLAY A ONLINE GAME IF YOU DONT WANT TO PLAY WITH THE MASSES?

Because as I stated above, I do like to play with people, I just like to play with a very select group of individuals from time to time.

Therefore what Albion class matches this playstyle the closest (but isn't a stealther main).

I've come up with:

Sorc
Minstrel
Friar
Cabalist (Maybe?)
Thuergist (Maybe?)
Reaver (Maybe?)

What do you guys think. I know I wont find a perfect class, just looking for one that fits the mold the best.

To solo in frontiers you need speed.

Sorc if you want to play a caster. Minstrel if you want melee or if you ever want to stealth around.

Be warned, you need to lvl a pve character first to make plat and get started.

Also be warned, solo/small man action is virtually non existent on Uthgard. Hopefully in another month or two people hit 50 and start to RvR. 95% of what you'll find is only 8mans.

Why would you want to level a pve character if you roll a sorc? Its not that you need a full suit of plate every five levels, you are either kiting or letting the pet tank. Just level up tailoring you'll get rich easy.

I wouldnt roll a friar for SOLOING, its a GREAT soloer... with no speed other than permasprint.
If you're smallmanning and/or living at AMG friar is indeed good.

Theurg is good.

Minst is good but harder to play.

Go sorc, its FUN.
