What would make the better trio for PVE
Sorc, Theurg, Cab or Pala, Friar, Theurg? |
|
both not optimal and unless you state the specc of the cab very hard o tell.

Neither. Best trio in alb is sorc/minstrel/cleric.
Have to have buffs, have to have cc, 2 pets. GG. <Bushido>

Independent Trio: - Deathservant-Necro (Go for Deathsight and respec on servant at lvl 40) OR Matter-Caba - Cleric - Sorc (Mind or Hybrid) OR Deathsight-Necro Pro: Amazing PvE / Farming Trio (Necro is better) Con: Necro is not that valuable for RvR (especially not for 8x8 / small men), Caba would need a respec to go for RvR (efficiently) -> Necros are less likely to die, therefore easier for new players, but no really valuable for RvR. Caba gets outfarmed by Necros at most spots. Melee-Trio: - Paladin (Great in PvE, not that much in 8x8 RvR, basic class for every PvE group, blue wall of sends) - Cleric or Friar (If no one cares to play a 100% support class, go for the cleric. Friar != 8x8 RvR) - Any Melee (Merc or Arms for RvR), Theurg, Sorc. ![]() -> If you chose cleric, take another melee dps ![]() Greetings Last edited by Nunki on Mar 17, 2017 10:50, edited 1 time in total.

Leave it to albs to say "we know better..."
Of the trio's you mentioned, I'd recommend Paladin/Friar/Theurg. While somewhat slow, it is rather efficient. Once you get into the late 20's, you will be effectively killing non-stop. Also, these 3 classes are a core component of any PVE group - once you decide to fill your group, you won't have a problem finding people. Sorc/Cab/Theurg can work, but expect to sit a lot too. The cab, being the only one with (potentially) infinite man (from pet recycle ability) should be doing most of the work. Without a tank, thing could get messy too. Hope that helps |

Woops, my bad. If you have to pick from those two options, then the one with paladin. <Bushido>

The best pve trio in the entire game is servant necro / deathsight necro / cleric.

After much debate and several rerolls we went with Reaver, Friar, Minstrel. Just reached lvl 20 and it's been pretty good so far. Thanks for all the replies on the thread.

reaver, pally, minny proly pretty good as well. |
|
So you think Pally is better than Friar with that trio?
|
|
if you run melee dps in your grp in pve, pally will definitely speed things up. no end regen hurts. this isn't bad though. friar can probably carry most trios in pve no matter what you run. reaver will have to sit for end and that will be what slows you down. |

This is a nice trio. ![]() ![]() You could try to fit a Paladin in (Reaver or Minstrel), which means no Endu problem, but honestly, keep on playing and enjoy. ![]() There will be enough time to level another character in the far future and for now, this trio is quite usefull and most important FUN. ![]() Also your Minstrel friend should take a close look at this: http://daocinfo.awardspace.com/guides/c ... lassic.htm Might make your life much easier. ;P Muryans (next to Cornwall Station) could be the next "to go for" pet. ![]() Greetings |

Does anyone have a recommended Friar spec for this trio? I've been keeping staff at lvl and put 7 into enhance for the end pulse and first haste buff then put the rest into heals. Any suggestions on what my spec should look like around 40 or 50? Thanks
Edit- this is for pve farming |
