We added a few more. We are close to being full. I'm going to continue looking into ways to merge people together, get more bodies under one roof if at all possible. Also, just a reminder - try to be nice to each other while PvEing because we WILL need to work together out in RvR. I know ****** gets heated at the pygmy slave mines, but don't let it get the best of you.

Primordial (Alliance Leader)
Squeel like a Torcan (Founding Member Guild)
Knights Hemplar
Chicken n Moo
Church
Rainbowned
Purga
Frammenti di Excalibur
Ma Anche No
SupreM
Guardians of Light
Defiance
Forgotten Faith
Shroud
Valor
Kaamelott

Added...
The Hun - We overcame our differences and they're back into the fold.
Trained Again - Glad to have this RvR squad with us. Always a good time.

In other news, Hibernia primed the Midgard frontier tonight by taking all of their keeps - for what reason we really don't know as they couldn't really make use of taking all of those keeps... so we did, and we wilsoned away with the Midgard strength relic late at night.

Shotout to Garcyn of Unflinching for taking the initiative to gather the unruly horde together, everyone who came along and switched characters to join the effort, Pathology for being an excellent coward and running with great haste while we played Operation Speedbump behind him allowing him to barely escape the Mid group that was tearing up our heels.

hilarious update and thanks for the warm welcome!
also cant agree with you more about keeping the peace among albion. Not everyone enjoys the same things or has the same plans but if we can all be respectful to each other and team up when needed for the common good we can really rock.

I put the updates out so people can have some idea of what is going on and who is where. It always frustrated me that none of the other alliances posted who they consisted of, so I made it point to do it.

Also, sometimes cool stuff happens and it's worth mentioning. Pathology leaving us to die for a cause while he hauled ass away with the relic seemed like worthy story.

And Drakkar is on point too. This games differing playstyles often interfere with each other in a frustrating way which causes drama - the main thing I've tried to focus on is to let people have fun doing what they enjoy in DAoC. Just gotta accept that everyone has their own playstyle and motives and sometimes it bumps up against another in a not so nice way - it's rarely person, rather it's just how the game evolved and it's mechanic came together.

I'm still waiting for Splitquick to answer my PM so I can list his guilds. Other than that the running list on the directory "Come Back to Alb" is updated

Bane - Deehorsie, if you read this - you are welcome in the alliance but as we fill up it's hard to justify a single/two person guild. Get back at me, maybe we can work something out.

On that note - things are going to be changing slightly. We are still accepting recruits to the alliance (and always for Primordial itself) - but we will be more adamant that these new guilds bring something into the fold. If a new guild comes along that dwarfs and existing guild in terms of members/activity/contribution then I will start discussing mergers with people... and by discussing I really mean that it's going to come down to some hard choices. Going forward, I'll be transparent with my thoughts and bring things up in the Alliance Discord for people to talk over before I take any large steps.

To most people, this won't be a surprise. I've told many of the smaller guilds that have joined us that things will change a bit as we fill up. Since inception we went from a primarily NA based RvR alliance into hosting a quite a few international guilds with varying languages and play schedules as well as incorporating a few PvE guilds in order to help people level, farm, etc. Ultimately our main focus will still be RvR of all sorts.

RIP Primordial Alliance
Mon Apr 24, 2017 11:45 am - Sun Aug 13, 2017 3:13 pm

I've largely stopped playing. The two most recent patches were a "hail mary" of hope for me, and it fell quite short of my expectations/desires. Life has improved the less time I spend standing around waiting for groups or to roll out. I'll still login every now and then - but I don't think it's right to have an alliance propped up on top of an inactive leader and a dead guild. It should be remade by somebody who cares and actively wants to have something like it exist on Albion. It isn't hard. You make a post, you talk to some people, and /gc ainvite them whenever you can. As others said - the Alliance mostly ran itself for what it was. All you need is somebody with the desire to take the effort to remake it.

I will keep the Discord server up - if somebody wants to try and remake it with many of the same guilds - I'll pass the Discord server over so that you don't have to go through the work of entirely remaking it.

I could make some long winded post like I usually do about Uthgard, but I don't really give a ****** anymore. It was fun while it lasted, and I'm sure I'll log back in for some fun in the future, but until Broadsword opens up another server or some real competition for Uthgard opens up (which would crush them if it was halfway decent) DAoC is on the back burner for me.

It's been good, now go blaze your own trails.

With any luck, I'll see some of you again on the next incarnation of DAoC... if it comes and whatever it may be.

Triggered is making a long overdue NA alliance. PM for invite/details. Requirements are 6+ active NA players with an RvR focus. We will also do DR and ****** :)
