Yep thats one thing. Another would be the bugged ice pets (as supp you can easily avoid the nukes). Whereas windpets are still effective, partly preventing petclear casts.
Anyway as I said Ice is still viable, but on the other hand you dont really need ae root. The only really good thing about ice spec is the snarenuke imo.

Icepets have 2 range checks here. First when they start to cast, second when the cast goes off. On live there was only the first one afaik.
