So is it worth getting a 100% flute if youre solo so mez is longer? and drum etc?

and another question did you ever make a good fullcap stealth slash template?
im currently building one but its not easy:/

if you got one i would be very happy to see a nice one..

thx

Quality of flute dont have a effect. only the "buff" songs -> drum and lute.
100% -> 12sec
99% -> 9sec

But I would make flute MP, too, cause you wanna have the same stats on it as drum/lute ;)

Fullcap temps for minstrels arent easy. A friend off mine made one, except 1 or 2% matter.
But its thrust, maybe you can change it to slash.
will ask him for this later ;)

Greetings Minplus

god I get SO ****** off when people start telling new players that autotraining is the ONLY way to go!
2 points of stealth will NOT make or break your class, nor will you notice 99.5% of the time, and then for what? Masochistic 50 hour grind without the very tool that would make it possible, that would turn away every sane person with any value for their free time.

Good job scaring away potential newcomers with your BS stories of competitiveness and how "every point counts". Bugger that, play the game to enjoy it and DON'T autotrain if you have any sense of self worth (unless you have someone to level you all the way to 48, which I doubt). I promise you, you'll never notice the difference.

Minstrel was the first toon I started. I tried autotraining and managed to make it to lvl 14. I could barely kill a yellow, and 10% of the time the yellow would actually kill me. So I gave that ****** up and moved to Hib.

But 2 stealth will affect you at some point.

Minstrel was my first character on this server. I autotrained her to 48, almost completely solo. It's very much worth it as once you hit 48, those extra points are yours forever. Do they make a huge difference? No. Do they make a difference? Yes. The real trick behind making this 100x easier is using a level 7 filidh put on passive and chain pullling yellows (hopefully weak to slash). You can chain pull yellow/oj nonstop for hours and hours.

One major bonus is the ability to spec 50-inst/44-Thrust as a group misntrel for the anytime snare. This spec is not possible without autotraining. The other interesting spec is 50-inst/37-slash/25-stealth. I've seen some minstrels go higher then 25 stealth and it simply makes no difference. You should either be 0 stealth or 25 stealth.

Mp instruments make twisting that much easier and they're very much worth the investment. twisting is not difficult with 99, but considering their cost and the difficulty of templating a minstrel compared to other classes, it's worth the extra investment.

A perfect tempalte isn't considerably difficult, but it's not easy, especially when you want to squeeze in particular items such as charges.

Edit - I'm actually redoing mine soon. I'm after an Akar's barrier though.
Alb - Eternitys, Eternityz, Spectres, Prophecy, Phantasm, Swarm
Mid - Spheres, Cicada, Aalea

Eternitys - If were allowing custom changes, why would the staff choose to remove a very very good and highly accepted custom change such as barrels? Then on top of that, use the "it's livelike" excuse as a reason for removing them? If staff are so concerned about livelike and that's the direction the staff wish to go, I'd fully support a 100% livelike server. However if there are custom changes on the server, then using the "livelike" excuse is being nothing more then hypocritical.

Staff - Locked!
