I was thinking about rolling Alb but I don't want to try to xp in a realm full of solo farming necros and cabalists, and clerics buffbotting everyone else.

Give it a go. I wouldn't place too much value on the salt you see on the forums. I've had no issues having fun with folk and forming/joining groups to level.

I've yet to see any clerics that made me think they were just a buff bot.


The one dude who's trying to write his own salt-based novels isn't worth taking to heart.

1/6 alb plays necro
1 necro monopolizes 1 full regular-sized spot
5/6 necros are just making this toon to generate extra money and won't even show a toe in RvR zone
most necro will just pick a spot whether or not it's being used and ruin it till people go away frustrated

yep, in the context of a saturated population in pve zones and of a server beginning, necros truly are the cancer of albion.

I've had no problem with groups or finding people to level with. Yea theres a lot of necros but hasn't affected my grouping ability so far.

And yea, the forums are sadly home to a handful of people spamming about how bad everything is

Every time a Cleric in a keep fight gets a power transfer after resurrecting their idiot teammates who had to go outside yet again Albion gets to keep one more Cleric for a few more days

i don't see a problem with people leveling up an aoe farming class first so they can trade pls with someone to get their minstrel or whatever else to 40+ without having to gimp themselves at 50. alb has almost twice as many auto train classes as the other two realms COMBINED (7, 2, and 2). if you take stealthers out of the equation, alb has 5 auto train classes, mid has 1, and hib has none.

there are other reasons, but that reason alone is good enough for me.

it casts 500000 dps to someones chatbox

As if necros were limiting themselves to spirit weak mobs... they have too much competition with their own kind.
