Can't we all just agree if you hide 2p items in with 2g items in hopes that a buyer doesn't notice, that individual is an a**hole.

mm didn't they change the currency view from g to gold or some other abbreviation at genesis, to prevent misunderstandings like that?

Its like people arguing with fallacies.
If the person made something with bad faith or with intent to abuse, etc... Contract or no contract (since a contract is voided by court if its considered abusive anyway, regardless of signature: someone can be forced to sign an abusive contract because he is scared, threatened, etc... or cannot see the abusive nature of the contract because of idiocy, age, carelessness, etc...) Capitalism is right to do business privately, but business is something taught it is not ill-business or illegal business, with shady business practices. The only reason for irregular prices without any modification to quality of an item in today's world is marketing/economy of scales.

To try to sell a 3g or 2g potion at 3pp or 2pp is scam, no amount of marketing can justify 1000% increase in sales price.

When you see one, take a screenshot and make it public in a dedicated wall of shame post.

I still have the screen shot of the potion on their vendor. I'm pretty sure it's against forums ToS to call someone out though. Also, it's possible they MAY have made a mistake.

There are old posts on this forum, even commented by GMs, that cited scammers.

So I dont think its against the TOS. And if it s a mistake, they get a chance to see it and correct it.

Its not allowed, your topic will get deleted.

You can however make a list of scammers, thieves, etc... on a separate format/medium.

Well, I just came across some dude who thought it clever to hide a 1p Strong Elixir of Power among a bunch of 1g pots. Those pots vendor for 1.25 and cost 2.50 to make, so I can only congratulate this individual, who is totally not an **hole, on his genius move and wholeheartedly encourage him to continue in this clever moneymaking idea.

Doing something without concern of how another person will react or feel is what sociopaths do (Antisocial Personality Disorder or whatever you wana call it). These people may not be sociopaths/psychopaths but they are certainly acting like one. Is it possible for someone to be a good person while acting like a sociopath? Can a "good person" sign a paper to allow toxic waste to be dumped in a stream and still be a good person simply because they don't know if anything bad happens? No! Deliberate ignorance of the effects of doing bad things doesn't make you a good person.

Hey mgp, mind telling me your address?

Btw it's not assault and robbery if you're too weak to defend yourself.

Did you just compare violence, to freakin' dyslexia?

Far out...
:gaga:

Btw, this is not really scamming, and it wasn't even bannable on live server either.. You can sell your items, for whatever price you want. But it is up to the buyer, to check that he buys the correct item. The seller can't be banned in these cases. No matter how retarded it seems.
I agree it is low, but ultimately it is your fault, and only yours, for not checking the prices. 8O

Bannable? No
Scam? Yes

You are deliberately deceiving people into buying something they didn't intend to. That's a scam.
