During NA times there is a major shortage of good tanks in RvR, I'm not sure about Euro primetime. There is a lot of clerics in PvE but not as many as you would think RvRing (at least at NA times- it's mostly casters and minstrels).

As for me, I'm going to put a transfer in to Hib and try things out over there (not deleting, just checking it out). Alb is really starting to annoy me, nobody wants to take keeps back and PvE is completely destroyed by soloers (cabs/necros). Groups during NA time are practically non-existant, both in PvE and PvP (most people RvRing are soloers or guild groups).

I know animists are a problem in Hib but I don't think anything could be as bad as Lyonesse. Going to Lyonesse on this server has pretty much ruined my perception that this game had a good community. -If you and your friends may find an uncamped spot it's only a matter of time before a cab or death servant necro comes in and steals the entire camp- aggroing things as they spawn.

My timer is running too. I will go mid since I was always mid. Alb is a nightmare. Really hard to build a grp and find a spot. DM is no option since ads there are crazy and FZ most grp dont want to go. Level 38-41 is really a bad level range in Alb
Hope GMs are fine with what they have stated, that they are fine with just 80 people (300ppl was Trishin Statement long time ago) playing the game under their vision.
Its important to leave this server running doesn't matter how low the numbers will be. The other servers can fail but Uthgard still will be there, thats Uthgards only chance.

Edit 19/09/21: Well Uthgards chance has come.

Main thing I've noticed during NA time is that Alb doesn't really work together in terms of leveling.

Everyone is powerleveling everywhere and they aren't going to invite you unless you pay them, so you look for groups and hope for the best.

Lots of typical small bickering and whatnot as well. I ended up in a few raids and people on voice chat are ****** other guilds in the raid.

It's not hopeless, but Albion is truly a realm full of opportunist capitalistic bastards - hearing about Mids XP events and Hibs XP campouts make them seem like socialist DAoC utopias in comparison.

For level 40+ (38 for Pallies, Cleric) the only place to go for group activity is Lynn Barfog, downside is its extremely boring, nothing to solo until you get a group, and it can take some time to get a spot in a group. It can be a pain to find a Paladin but a group can do without one what means killing things are abit slower. most groups consist of a Paladin, Theurg, Sorcerer, Cleric rest dps both melee and casters, and even Infiltrators are most welcome.

Most players are friendly and polite with some ****** here and there, but everyone is in the same boat to level to 50 so the torture is over.

Solo wise untill level 40 i ignored Lyonesse mostly, except a few groups i was in, you can reach level 40 just in Cornwall.

Yes 38-40 is hard, but honestly no reason to leave. :D (XP curve is the same on mid :P )

Dartmoor is great, but you can't go there with any kind of random group.
The group needs to know what to do. Which isn't Dartmoors / Albions fault. :P

LB is boring / overcamped but the place to be if you want to find an "easy" lvl group.

If you avoid Lyo, you will have no problem to lvl in Albion. (At least I have no problem with my twinks)

If you find a guild / friends, you will stop to denounce powerleveling.

Anyway. have fun in Midgard, may be easier for you. :P

If alb is a nightmare, then mid can be hell. You must have a specific class/spec if you intend on grping, unless you have friends there already willing to help you out.

Healer (pac or aug)
shaman (aug)
rm (supp or supp/dark)
zerk/savage
skald (only 1 per grp!)

If you re not in this list, then you're not part of the Midgard family (yes war/thane too).
Suppress or Summoning SMs are a different thing, they re welcome but melee grps make up 80% or more of the server.
Things may have changed but that's how it was before I deleted my 50 hunt.
