Make a Reaver. We hibs hate them and we stealthers really hate them. Good solo and group toon.
Have fun and hope to be killing you soon. ![]() |

Advice about casters?
Don't make one. Uthgard hates casters; resist rates are far too high, mana is pre-NF (which is ok and correct, but for pvm it just sucks), they got neither %casting speed nor Mastery of Arts, interrupting chance is quite high with lags,.... Just don't. You will be frustrated before even reaching level 40. |

wind/ice theurgist would be the best pick out of everything for solo and grouping. yes a cabby can lifedrain, better for solo maybe, but if nescessary a theurgist can aoe mezz and run the hell away. ice pets have crazy dmg even at low lvls, and with a theurgist in the group, you can interrupt everyone who is casting, making that bossy tank block/parry/evade your melee dps less. needless to say wind dd is better than fire dd. just check it with right RAs, it is easy to get somethingf between 400-800.

sadly I have to agree, casters are lot of fun in BGs, but they are crap to level (apart from cabby which is the opposite
![]() ![]() for solo, I guess at higher rr you can do ok with caster, but most of the time you will meet big groups which will roll you, solo people who are specced for solo (those can be fun fights actuallly) and stealthers, if you don't have purge 2+ you will most likely die in CD stun. And even if you somehow kill them, the PA damage and viper 3 dot is enough to kill caster, however if you take cleric to buff and maybe some tank to kill when you are rupted, you can take on some good numbers ![]() so to sum it, casters are good in groups if they have the right support, fun in small groups with proper cc use and quite frustrating solo. |
