I'm interested if any + to enhancement skill gives a bonus to buffs (base/spec), and if it does how much is that bonus? Thanks

Awesome advice. + to Enhancement / Nurture / Augmentation raises the value of your buffs if the level of the buff is above your speclevel. It's therefore only useful for base buffs.

Albion's level 50 base str has a value of 50.
If you have a spec of 1+0 in your buff line, this spell would have a value of 50 * 0.75 = 37 (I think DAoC just cuts off instead of rounding up).
Every specced point will then raise the multiplicator until it reaches its cap at 125%. The base str would then buff 50 * 1.25 = 62 and therefore cap.

I think you needed 50 in Enhancement in order to cap base str, not entirely sure though. Think the formula was something like

spellvalue * ( 0.75 + (( speclevel - 1 ) * 0.5 / spelllevel )

Maybe it got changed but this is how it used to be.

you know as well as me that GMs are not god ( i am the only one :D )... and some of them are just players that got the GM title and so maybe have less time to play and know the game...

you should try to get both... and maybe if you can't yet at the moment get some items to switch for buffing

I don't know your spec but most friars spec a lot in enhancement anyway.
In case you don't reach 51 including your realmrank bonus, you could simply put on a crafted mace and a crafted shield with +6 and +5 enhancement and just switch them whenever you buff. Or alternatively just deal with those two or three stat points fewer.

Right.

Just switch items when you buff though since you don't need a permanent bonus. =)
