So I have decided to join up with my home server from the time I played on live. One of my favorite classes on Albion was always the Reaver, and I wanted to check in on some popular specs here on Uthgard. Is auto-training a possibility with weapon skills here? (Can't remember) Also, how good/wanted are reavers here?

They´ll be pretty much useless when/if old RAs arrive.

Reaver is very good atm, both for solo and group (det5 required for groups so need some RR). With old RAs coming someday, it will be useless in group so only solo will be possible.

The one and only reaver spec is 50 flex / 42 shield / 36 soulrending / rest parry.
Autotrain is possible (if I remember on slash + flex) but not necessary.

Also there are quite many bugs on that class but it's still playable... until old RAs :p
I am assuming direct control.

for RvR hedra is right..

50 flex, 42 shield, 36 soul is a must..

but if you want your reaver for farming the following spec might be considered too:

44 flex (for the lifetap from the afterblock combo)
45 soul (for the last offensive lifetap-proc value 41, healthreturn 50%)
42 shield (slam + side style if the normal lifetaps are not enough
(this spec requires FULL AT)

helpfull equipment for farming:
highlord oro helm ... HoT reactive
dragon shield large ... lifetap reactive
dragon vest ... heal-proc reactive
basalt whip ... lifetap-proc
or if you go for massive farming of low level mobs you might consider AE-proc´s:
rune etched chain sleeves ... AE-reproc (level 51 drop in DM with nice bonus)
DF Dia-Seal whips ... AE-DD-proc

no mather which mob(s) you wana farm...most are easy going with the farming spec cause of the income of HP from all your lifetaps, HoT´s and Heals...
in albion there are only a few who might be problem (afanc, moran) because they deal too much damage and resist your lifetaps kinda more often then all the rest in albion.
all other are possible to farm solo.

the RA´s (i have on my farming reaver):
MoB 5
Dex 3
Qui 3
Dual Thread 2 (10% crits on melee and magic, also affect the offensive lifetap which is often very usefull)

And when they "fixed" the aurora borealis proc for zerkers they also managed to screw up all the other style procs, so now we have huge variance on our styles which may never be fixed properly...
