Well, I was going to play Hib (me being an ex-hib on excalibur since the Catacombs expansion, but an Alb player before Catacombs), but my best mate is going to roll Albion, so I'm going over.

My question now is: what classes are mostly needed in Albion?
DaoC classes are like Pokemon: I've got to have em all.

I'll roll a necro for PVE farming and gearing (obviously), but I also (obviously) want to play a class for RVR.

Also, is there a casual friendly guild that is recruiting?

Back on the Excalibur/Albion server, I used to be a member of the guild Strength and Honour (the very first Alb guild with that name, pre-SI), afterwards I was the founder of the guild Legion of Arawn (which was quite big for awhile until ToA), and the end of my Alb period, I played in the Dragon Fighters. So I don't know if there are any Albs on Uth who used to be part of those guilds, cos it'd be a pleasure to meet players from then again.

Used to be part of the Dragon Fighters community for some time back in the days.
Had a really great time in that guild.
I'm not familiar tho with anyone from that guild playing here in Uth, but I surely would like to find some of the m8s.

I kinda flunked on that one. I didn't mean the Dragon Fighters. I meant the Dragon Legion.
Sorry for that. It's 10 years ago and I spent so much time in Daoc before I got married that I mix the names up now and then

I saw some of the DF guild players in WAR, they had actually founded a similar guild in Destruction side.
But lost them after WAR closed down.

The people i remember was Thamiel Paladin ,Kartoffelpistol Mercenary i think, Gritzzy Sorc , Sorro Sorc , Rocco Scout And Fatality Wizard tho changed to First Cohort .

Me and some of the people from The Dragon fighters left and made the Guild The Prodigy. But later on i moved US

the name fatality rings a bell. He was feared by the Hibs (I remember his name popping up in rants in the guild channel when I went over to Hib after the release of Cata).

Anyway, I'm back in Alb now and...I really missed this place.
I finally settled on playing an Armsman named Joske.
I'm looking for a fun guild that accepts casual players

I remember his Pala as well, Ridick or something.
Also grouped with Fatality lots of times.
