Do you, like me, have the feeling that the situation in Albion is getting worse by the day? Forum spammed with hate posts, As chat used more for flame then anything else, no1 ever responding in /gu chat anymore. Mids are raiding our frontiers, taking our relics and our women, dem Lurikeens are making fun of us. Lyonesse is filled with evil Necromancers, while our Paladins are scarce. Cabalists doing each others monsters, mercenaries breaking mezzes on purpose, theurgists being afk. People selling overpriced items at the housing, just so they can get that tier3 house upgrade before their neightbour. I remember those days when all it took were those 5silvers to make some1s happy and have him take a /bow. What happened Albion? We were so happy back then.

Well i miss the good old days, and they are probably gone for good. All we can do is remember them for what they were:

I think the social demeanor of online games in general has declined greatly over the past decade, but there is still good out there in our realm. I've experienced several moments of comrardarie so far, and good gestures from strangers. It's not as prominent as it once was, but I also used to be younger and more naive. Just keep initiating good dialog with people and keep an eye out for a guild of like-minded people. It will come together.

I didnt really mean what i wrote, i ment to do some form of irony, something close to sarcasm i guess, but more friendly, kinda hard to tell, or explain, i definitely failed to get the point across i guess if you took my words seriously. The video itself is supposed to be funny if you watched it so i thought would be enough. Maybe the problem lies in the fact that most of what i said is kinda true, i just dont make too much of a drama about it myself, in fact all the flame posts on the forum kinda amuse me... thats the kind of irony/mocking i was looking for.

Not to mention that I keep metioning the good old days, and the video I posted its from 20 days ago :P
I bascially recorded the first hours of UTH 2.0 cos i ment to make a video about this event, and thats just what i did. Maybe a bit too soon, its gona get better in a couple years ^^

You were the only one replaying, hopefully the other people who read this didnt take it too seriously, kinda hard to tell i guess. I sure didnt mean to complain or give a negative feeling to anyone reading, if anything i was tryng to dedramatize actually, its just for the lols :D

Anyway, all that being said, thx for the nice words anyway, i 100% agree with you, thats probably what i would say to some1 who is feeling a little blue about bad behaviour around him, I appreciate ^^

All we can do is step up and be proud Citizens of Albion for ourselves, hoping that this kind of behaviour will make others being friendly and more helpful again.

I've noticed the demeanor is very different between Clan Cotswold and West Albion Explorers.

WAE everyone seems to be more standoffish and hostile. Questions by n00bs are met with sarcastic responses.

CC seems more helpful and welcoming. Claims that the "Sky is Falling" in RvR are usually met with rational comments that it will take us (albs) longer to hit 50 and the game isnt "lost" by far.

WAE seemed to be more of an echo chamber of the sky is falling.

CC has gold giveaways and equipment hand me downs regularly.
I've been giving away 10g to newbies to help jumpstart their Alb careers. I've seen other players doing the same. Callout to Wislok for giving away more gold to newbies than I have. Necros aren't all evil.
