Not sure if anyone has run into this but while buying potions from market explorer I've noticed some people will have 1- 2 potions listed as 3p in the middle of 3g potions. You can barely see the difference while buying in bulk. it's possible these people clicked the wrong currency but the guy I almost bought them from had a mansion for a house- coincidence? I would keep an eye out either way.

Set max price to like 30g and voila

This was a well used scam on genesis as well; they even put a custom message up over the market explorer warning of douchebaggery.

Mmhmm yea this is nothing new. Live servers what scattered with this horsesh*t too.
My mind’s made up, don’t confuse me with facts.
You mustn't assume that your personal situation is a reflection of every other person that has logged in to Uthgard. |

How is it scamming if you are too stupid to tell the difference between the letter g and the letter p.

Hey mgp, mind telling me your address? Btw it's not assault and robbery if you're too weak to defend yourself. |

Pretty much all scams revolve around tricking or deceiving someone into doing something they didn't intend to do. Whether someone is stupid or not really has nothing to with whether it's a scam or not. Are all those phone scams that target the elderly not considered scams simply because old people are senile? If your intent is to trick people (stupid or not) into doing something they didn't want or intend to do then it is a scam. |

i have to admit, he is right. ever play eveonline? READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE YOU ACCEPT IT!!!! Buyer Responsibility. if you walk into a store and they sell 1000 candy bars, and one is for 300 bucks... thats ur own damn fault for buying it. Capitalism: the right to set ur prices however the ****** you want. welcome to how ****** works. dont like it? okay... you open a business irl... and let ME set YOUR prices HAHAHA!!! |

man selling item at a set price. working as intended. |

not only will you never win this argument. at 217 posts. you complain alot. about things that cant be fixed. WHY IS THE SKY BLUE!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (psst, he's just farming posts by replying with answers of no merit or value. how do i report that? LOL) who cares. deal with it ![]() Capitalism at its finest. Guy break checks you while driving, and you dont have a driver cam. who's fault is it? yep thats right, ur boned buddy. HAD YOU BEEN AN ALERT DRIVER YOU WOULDNT HAVE REAR-ENDED HIM ! HAD YOU BEEN AN ALERT BUYER YOU WOULDNT HAVE BOUGHT STUPID STUFF ! so do we refer to this as "Buyer Beware" ? or "Dumbass pay attention!" i don't think being politically correct saying "buyer beware" does this justice. |

It's not a matter of whether or not it is legal to use these tactics to get people's money. If it wasn't allowed, I am sure there are ways to prevent something like that from being possible (hard-code caps for certain types of items). The point is rather that doing something like that to get someones hard-grinded cash requires a moral compass so ****** up that I'd be surprised if that person was able to find their own ass.

At 67 posts and you have no likes? Do you really have room to talk? Yes, it's true that people have weaknesses and that they may not be paying 100% attention 100% of the time, it's called human nature, maybe you should look it up and stop being such a sociopath? For being such a smart ass you should really take a closer look at your logic instead of instantly insulting people you don't know because your post seems absolutely irrelevant to me. Why? Because exploiting human weakness is what scammers do. Blaming the victim for being tricked does not mean that it wasn't a scam, it means that you have a ****** up sense of morality. I mean, you can trick a toddler into giving you his candy but you're still an asshole for doing so when you know full well that's not what they want. - My post was intended to give people a heads up so that it's harder for people to profit from this. What's the purpose of your post? All it does is show me that you have the same mentality of those dickbag scammers that will do anything to justify their actions. |
