Q: So what is Defiance?

A: Well, Defiance is quite literally a bunch of newbies. That's right, we are basically trying to get as many new players who are in the starter guilds OUT of those guilds and into this one.

Q: Aren't there already starter guilds?

A: Yes, there are three default starter guilds but they don't give you much room to do anything. Once you are out, you are out forever and can't be invited back in. You can't claim a keep, the guilds each have several thousand BP and can do nothing with it, there's no alliance and there's no emblem. Defiance seeks to change all that.

Q: What's the goal of the guild? RvR? PvE?

A: The guild is literally nothing more then an upgraded starter guild. There's no focus, there's nothing more then a place where people can join, learn the game, and if they so wish in time, leave to join other guilds. You have no obligation, no dues or tax, nothing like that. We simply want people to join and have fun.

Q: How do I join if I am interested?

A: ANY MEMBER of Defiance can invite you, all rank 9 members (everyone, even the guild leader, is a rank 9) can invite you and get you in, once you're in you're all set!

We hit 80 members last night and had multiple groups rolling so we're off to a better start then I expected!

Very nice idea, this is worth some spam in the starter guilds, everybody should join.

I made a macro and spam all starter guilds from time to time.

Tonight we broke 500 members, so the experiment is well on its way and we're doing great.

This is a fantastic idea - props to you guys.

We now offer a guild house with teleporters, bind stine, and vault for transfer help! 500+ members, 30 -40 active at any time and a huge level spread. Come out and join the fun!

Just curious, do you have guild taxes on?

No guild tax at all. We have members who donate money left and right to which I am eternally grateful. So far I think we had 6 play total donated.
