As someone who soloed most of 1-44 as a rogue, it wasn't a big deal not getting a group. But I have been very impressed and amazed at the friendly atmosphere between players grouping at 45+ when the XP grind hits. It is like we all realized that we need to come together and people really have been supporting each other.

Alb gets a bad rap because of necros everywhere or not caring, but that's not what I see in people doing the final grind. Frankly the other realms should be worried because we have a great bunch of people hitting 50 in the near future.

I too never had big problems with necros stealing mobs and/or not getting invited. I do believe that some people had genuinely bad experiences in alb.

Having played an inf in SI daoc, I remember feeling like a burden to must groups and ice bombs being THE PVE fotm. I expected this to be the case too for uthgard. But the pve mezz/meleeassist metagame also really profits from having MDPS chars (like the infiltrator) with da & haste in their grp.

I made other experience and I am almost tired to beg for group in lyonesse with my lvl 45 scout.

Most of the Albs don't see the bigger picture, that it might be useful, to make good contacts with a Player, who has 4 Leg crafters.

my advice is to just /send <name> all people who might be useful to being in your grp and ask if they are interested to join the awesome group you are building. This is what I mostly did. worked wonders.

I feel like my experiences have been very mixed. Today is a good example. I was in DF on my paladin with a minstrel friend and we were killing tempters in the cook room. Pulling from the same room was a scout, a necro (who gave out power and ABS) and a friar and all was well. People pulled mobs one at a time, killed it and pulled again.

Then came a servant necro, parked on top of the spawn point and aoe pulled. If someone manged to pull a mob, he would run over to you and pbaoe it. /shrug.

I was suprised Infiltrators are very welcome in LB, the grind was boring but the people were very nice

Now on my Scout it looks like people feel sorry for me because i rolled one, or they are just nice people offering me constant bows and armor parts for free.

Build a Group, if you have Shieldspec at 42 by now (which you should) you can pull / guard....

As for "begging for groups" as far as i have seen it there are almost only PL grps in this lvl range, Llyn is where its at

I've had nothing but a decent experience here on alb since switching from mid.

Occasionally you get the mob camping/kill leeching necros and cabs but they don't bother me as much since I expect them, and it's been a rare occurrence for me personally.
