Thinking about rerolling Alb from Mid. I know this is gonna sound silly but I actually want to play a Reaver. However, I keep hearing that leveling is basically you level a Necro first and then trade PLs with other people to level the class you actually want to play. Even though server been live for like 4 months on Mid there are still plenty of groups to be had at all levels. Its just as easy to put a group together at level 15 as it is at level 25 as it is level 45. Its really not hard to get a group no matter what class you are. We will even group Hunters. I dont think Albion has the low population like Hib has so are there groups to be had at all levels? Just dont wanna be stuck trying to solo with grey gear once I kill tasks stop at 20 while some guys created at the same time as me are getting a level every 5 minutes cause they are grouped with a level 50 Necro.

A lots of PLing going on in alb at present but that will always be the case.

Yes there are normal exp groups to be found and you can level effectively this way.

Although lyonesse is just a necro playground at present. Lots of fighting over spawns. So just r inventive about where you level (there are other spots).

Few words of advice...

The grind is long but worth it. (Averaging 8-10 days /played to 50 without PL)

Do not expect to get a group the moment you log in. Perhaps a solo cabalist for whilst you are lfg.

Join an active guild with an active alliance so you can lfg for main whilst messing on an alt.

Have fun, don't obsess over 50. Take you time, make some friends and enjoy the ride... it will take a while. Who knows perhaps you will befriend a lonely necro for some PLing love.

Once you're 40+ getting a grp on alb won't be a problem.

Before that it might be.

As other's have said, you really don't need to level a Cabalist or Necro to trade PL. The only good reason to do either is if your main toon is incapable of farming (like a stealther for example) and you really need something to make money with.

Lyonesse is a stressful zone, so I suggest just not leveling there. I barely touched the zone myself, getting groups despite being a fairly unwanted class (until the 40s).

Generally, there is not a ton of grouping until after 20 because people do kill tasks. Then there should be plenty, and Reaver is good because most alb groups try to build a melee oriented setup like:
Sorc
Pally
Cleric
+ lots of tanks
A Theurgist for bubble and da/haste

As other's have said, grouping really picks up at 40 because people that were more solo oriented realize they need to be social and group.

having SI would help Albion immensely with more group friendly areas. It would also spread out the army of necros.
