I'm wanting to build a mid char for soloing and was wondering if any warriors could give some insight/list experience using 50shield spec over 42 shield spec. Do the 8 extra levels on shield or extra 1 second of stun with a lv50 stun style make it worth the loss of points into parry?

I was thinking of building a warrior with 50Hammer, 50Shield, 31 Parry, but feel that 50Hammer, 42 Shield, 41 Parry would work out better.

I was also wondering about templating. Is Dragonstorm the best two-handed hammer to use? I've fought against some RR6-10 warriors and even lower realm rank warriors using a Dragonstorm temp hit very hard (and if anyone knows, what is the common price for a Dragonstorm?).

Thank you :)

i think for a solo warrior the best hammer might be the Dragonstorm but its very hard to get and if you find someone who sells it, wich i doubt, count on up to 100 Platin if not even more.

More parry because most of your opponents when soloing will be dual wielders and parry works best against dual wield. Besides blockrates are insanely high, even with 0 shield you'll block a lot so the difference between 42 and 50 can't be that much.

How about Grp Warri (Def) for example, is it better to take 50W/50S/rest Parry? or is 50/42/39 more Useable?

grp warri: 50w 50s rest parry. Solo: 50w 42s rest parry.

it does not really make a big difference though, in both cases

I'd guess overall for soloing you couldn't beat 50 axe, 42 shield, rest parry. Let's you use venom, front chain is high growth rate, anytime ASD.

I've thought about using axe. It's one of the things I think is pretty cool about Midgard. May have to look into it.

axe is great for soloing but you should carry endu pots. hammer is fine for soloing too but it's real strength is for group fighting. hammer really shines when you're managing aggro off the support with backsnare.

Use hammer! If u plan to solo u will be fighting stealthers most of the time and infi, ns, ranger are all weak to crush damage.

Use hammer, hammers need low endu.
