what classes on mid can u solo have fun while leveling pretty fast? i heard some ppl get to 50 in like a week and half? what classes can do that and what classes are easy to lvl up and good at rvring, solo or grouped

probably a class that is required in a group no matter what..
eg.. berserker, shaman, healer (probably aug).. edit: if you find someone who is levelling up a spiritmaster, you could try to level a pac healer with him/her... i hear the xp in that kind of duo is ridiculous. |

For PvE and then go RvR, go for Skald. Imho is the best pic if you want to solo in exp and group in rvr, or go solo in rvr too.
I also xped my aug healer in solo: it's damn boring, but you can do orange and yellow mobs pretty easy. I am not the Hib Champion Jhonnybegood. He's another player!

The reason why you hard ppl doing 50 in 1 week is probably shaman. You get a shaman + n tanks, and just start rolling mobs, since you get spec buffs + endo + heals in the same char, thats just all you need for PvE. On the other realms you need 2 classes to get all those (pala + cleric / drood + bard), and that means you gotta kill higer level mobs, cos you r gona have 1 more person in your party, and also, will be harder to form up a good grp. Also Mids melee classes are damn strong and deal hell of dps, thats how you level fast on mid.
But if you wanna solo you aint gona be that super fast, whatever class you roll. Probably Aug healer with some pt in heal will be the fastest, along with skald for solo, but i am not sure. |

Solo PvE=
Tanks: Thane [Str/Con selfbuff and DMGadd. Get First Aid as soon as possible, level hammer for level 15 taunt that use almost no end.] Skald [Damageadd Chant, Healchant for downtime, Speed for getting around. Level hammer here aswell, keep BS high for the occational DD and for Damageadd chant.] Casters: Any can do, but all with high downtime. Seer: Healer [Full aug spec, solo like a god. Chaining Yellows and Oranges all the way. Full buffs (apart from D/Q), DMGadd, DMGshield, Haste, Celerity.] Shaman [Split Aug/Cave, stressful but can be done.] Stealther: Shadowblade [Keep envenom maxed, left-axe second and weapon third, keep extra weapons for reapply and adds. The DoT is a serious mob killer.] Hunter [Max Beastcraft, second spear, does well enough] PvP: Solo? hmz, SB, Hunter, Skald or Aug Healer I'd say. It's about getting around, being able to stay out of traffic (stealth or speed) and the abilities to be able to kill solo targets. (SB = critstyles and dots, Hunter = Bow, pet, selfbuffs, melee. Skald = Mach5, exellent kite ability, mad DD's. Augie = Well, you're fully buffed and got ****** of CC, only missing real style damage ;d) |

As an Aug Healer i can level fast solo in PvE and have a good utility in Solo RvR?
Sounds good. I have nerver played on Midgard and is AUG Healer btw a good way to start on Midgard and whats are the prefered Specs for SoloPve/PvP? greetz |

Don't go Aug Healer for solo PvP (unless you are really high RR maybe).
Your non-existing weaponskill will make all melee targets block/parry/evade like crazy and you will eat high-damage reactionary styles all the time while not delivering any damage. “DAOC is not about what you can log. It's about what you can play :> ”

Ok thx for this infos. Is than a Skald probably the better Choice for Solo and Group PvE/PvP as my first Char on Midgard? |
