Hello i just started playing Daoc agian after 2-3 years
i started a shaman its lvl7 atm
i whas wondering for lvling a shaman aint going full cave the best option or should i go aug to be a buffbot
whats usealy the fastest spec also a lvl50 spec for rvr what would that look like i saw 1 shaman say 27/38/27

If want a grp-smallman rvr and pve spec i'd go 46 aug 27 cave 8 mend.

during lvling i d go for aug / mend, very good for xp


my shaman's final spec is 46 aug / 27 cave / 8 men, but i' ll respec 47 aug ( red d/q spec buff) / 25 cave (no istant disease) / 8 mend


but the most important thing is how to spec RA's.. imo u should take serenity 1 and at dex 3. then when you'll go for rvr u can choose more rvr RA's like ichor - purge - mcl or whatever u like that fits with your gamestyle

I am unfamiliar with RA's, why dex 3? I am level 35 and have purge 1 and serenity 1.

aug dex to cast your spells faster like shears, disease, root and occational heals no toa casting bonuses here. serenity good for regen times of mana but i'd get mcl1 soon as you can,and purge 1 remove negative effects in rvr ofc. might think of getting icor 1 too for 15 sec aoe unpurgeable root the interrupts. also if rvr shaman pick up the best 1 point ra lw1 as red end doesn't work properly here you will lose some endurance on speed 6.

Why dex 3 instead of 2 or 4? Should serenity be 1 or 2?

i am 46/27, I feel pbae disease is a must. BUT, I am considering trying some type of mend spec given the support I play with is lower RR, our support does not have the purge3/di2/3 that most groups we face have...

Specs:
46aug, 27cave, 8 mend
but PBAE disease is bugged atm (see Linky )

or

50 aug 20mend

RAs:
Purge3, moc1, Lw1

That is some serious legitiment research, and it still has yet to be fixed?
Even if you dropped it and "ran in circles" around it, wouldn't matter - melee ranged still seems quite buggy to me.
