A friend of mine rolled a spiritmaster as her first character ever and she is quickly reaching 50. She chose darkness spec, so I'm wondering are there any experienced SM-s who can say what spec would work for the best(if darkness is primary), should she max out darkness and put the rest on other skill tree or should darkness be near max so other skill tree is decent and not just 20. Anyway, I would appreciate any suggestions and also would like to know what RA's should be primary for a good darkness SM. Thank you :).

"He was concerned only with the naked fundamentals of life. The warm intimacies of small, kindly things, the sentiments and delicious trivialities that make up so much of civilized men's lives were meaningless to him. A wolf was no less a wolf because a whim of chance caused him to run with the watch-dogs. Bloodshed and violence and savagery were the natural elements of the life Conan knew; he could not, and would never, understand the little things that are so dear to civilized men and women."

47 Darkness 26 Suppression is the only way to go as dark spec imo. It's a pitty you can't get to 28 supp for the demezz, but as dark the last lifedrain dd is a must. Good luck to you guys! :)

hey,

for spec i personally agree with the others, dmg-wise 47 26 is the best, you do get a mini bomb for clearing pets and the low str/con ae debuff
if she wants to play him as some kind of tool-chest though, she could go 40 dark, 36 supp (2nd to last lifedrain, 3rd to last bomb, demezz, both ae debuffs high)
personally, i havent ever played that spec, i played either darkness or suppression in "pure" form

RAs:
in any case i recommend going for augdex
for rr5 you could take purge 1, augdex 3, serenity 3, mcl 1, rp 1 and wp 2 or mom 2

to make best use of your realm skill points i recommend pushing augdex, wp and mom simultaneously... when you go augdex 3, take the next one (mom or wp) to 3, then the next one until all are on 3

for higher RR, purge 3 is a luxury (getting rid of nearsight)

of course, as always, all this is my way of doing it and if i have to be honest, in the NF times i roamed agramon with purge 1 and moc 3 and looked for stealthers :D
