Hey everyone! I played some DAoC recently, on live, but never played much before a year or so ago. So, I have some questions:

What's a good spec for hunter? I'd really like to go full bow, so what after that?

Any tips on hunter? From what I gather Uthgard still uses the old system of archery?

Are hunters able to get groups in PvE or PvP? On live hunters aren't very good in 8mans for PvP, but noone PvEs anymore so I have no clue about how they do, other than that they're good for soloing.

Thanks in advance!

max bow in the beginning, second beast, at 8 get 6 spear.
spend all ur money on fletching from level 5, ur gonna need a lot of arrows.

group if you can, Hunters do decent dmg in 8v8 groups.

rvr groups? forget it, unless its stealth group.

in my opinion..

I love that we all agree on the fact Lukiel was a great player who published awesome videos but if you look at his playstyle, and imagine him joining on Uthgard, he would be trolled and flamed so much now...! :D
Looking for a DAoC 1.65 classic server.

I watched a couple minutes of the first video, and I strongly disagree by calling the hunter in it a great player. Playing like that would be free rps in 2016. Sygora was a good hunter on Uth 1.0, not sure if he/she made rvr videos I'll take a look around youtube and the rvr videos section of the forums.

Well...
His play-style was not that of a hunter.
He never fought anyone without all his buffs, and timers up, and he was pd5 and full mélèe spec.

Do you think a melee hunter like intimid would stand a chance against a good infil or ns?

Against the real good ones? Only when Purge, IP and Avoid Pain are ready to be used.

No, not anymore without PD.
Also on Uthgard 1.0 you had as Hunter only a good chance if all (active) RA were up.
