I am looking for a npc to kill in Yggdra Forest and can find him. Vagn searched the interwebs and can only find the cords for him on nf. Can someone shed some like on this for me please. Would be helpful for others looking also.

I killed Vagn by luring him away from his friends, the locations indicated are correct. I got the flame and the note but can't use them as suggested here:

# 4 Put the icon of the dancing flame and of Vagn's note you received in your quickbar, push 'e' hold it and click on each item. As a reward you get some exp. (got 401M (at level 49) for clicking the flame and reading the note.)

Do you know if this step is definitely needed?

I dont know what that push e stuff is about. but can try just putting it on your quick bar and clicking it?
