I read that Shammy and Savage are a great duo to level together, so I rolled a savage while my friend rolled a shammy (I also have a level 13 skald that I have been solo leveling). We've been leveling together (lvl 9 now) and I can't help but think that it would be a better duo if I played my skald. We can kill oranges together but it is tough, while on my skald I can solo oranges. Granted there is a chance that I can't play a savage.

So I guess I'm just wondering what peoples opinions are on which is the better duo of the two.

Shaman and shadowblade is best duo. Stackable poisons and dual wield.

If you want to run duo in rvr pick skald. For fullgrp it doesnt matter, its pure luck which one is more needed once you are 50.

To be honest, right now I am more concerned with PvE leveling. It's his first introduction to a MMO and just want to have fun while we level together. I'd like for him to stay long enough to get to 50 and RvR, but I'm being realistic with us being in dental school and never playing a MMO before.

shammy+h2h savage. the shaman can pull and the savage will get his backstyle stun at skill 8. so h2h at level, rest in savagery
