Hi,
I'm making a Shadowblade lvl 25 at the moment but I need info about how to spec him for BG/RvR.
I'm doing him for exping, now it is 25LA, 25 Sword and I didn't spend my other points.
At Braemar lvl 35, Wilton lvl 43 and last spec at 50 which spec should I do for a good shadowblade?
Stealth is in auotraining at 6 now.
Thx a lot and sorry for my bad english!

stay on autotrain for stealth.
hold LA on ur lvl
try to get every next poison for ur lvl - stop with 35 points in it

spec viper 1-2 first
spec purge 1 then

in my opinion...

my best advice on shadowblade, if you wanna have some funny kills:

-skip autotrain. keep stealth and LA as high as possible.
-start with purge and work for purge 2. after that start speccing mos/mopain/viper

keep climbing in braemar is the most fun you will ever have on an uthgard shadowblade. i can personally guarantee this xD

the only thing you have to worry about with a non AT shadowblade is critical strike. you have to stay zerker spec into a little higher rr. at rr5 non autotrain zerker sb is gonna be like 35 venon, 35 stealth, 50 left axe, 37 axe. this will give you cap damage, and if you have purge 2 and viper 2 by rr5 or so you'll be doing really nice. critical spec is for like rr7+ with a non AT sb.

autotrain will let you be full critial spec with ok damage sooner but its a much more boring ride.

With a full LA, high venom and auto training stealth has many atvatages.
But requiers a different style of play, I got groups easy going through the BGs. In a group I rarely used Dot poisons I mainly used snare on all weapons except for my 1st main hand. <--- usually str/con debuff
This does wonders in a group a SB can peal tanks off support (if your support knows enough to run away) within a few swings you can disable a pain train the snare poison lasts after damage taken and a long time.
Solo, 1 vs 1 and sometimes 2 with full LA and high venom and viper I rarely had a problem and I was playing a kibbie too!
The only 2 classes I had problems with were Ranger and 1 VW. What I mean by this is the only classes that came close to winning as much as I did. No stealth No CS just straight up melee ... and a nice dot.

After lvl 48 and in final temp I specced stealth and still have only 10 CS not untill RR5 will this raise. I did very well in Thid and DF but could still help visable groups... since lvl 50 not many visables offer my SB a group unless they want to ninja a keep. BS2 and the 3chain Back LA styles do great damage.

I autotrained all the way to 48.

My Braemar spec at 35 was

34LA/22env/10crit/29 sword

You will have doublefrost, strong DoT+S/C debuff if you can get +8s on your gear.

I went to Wilton at 40

39LA/27env/10crit/33sword

I pretty much demolished anything and everything 1v1, although I had crafted a level 43 template to use till i could get into my 50 gear and used some buff potions.

My lvl50 temp at 4L2 will be 50LA/36env/36stealth/10crit/36sword. Until i'm rr6 or 7 and can get 34crit/44LA

Only one time i remember i killed you (or better my dot) was on wall in thid with 45. Most time braemar Wilton you kicked my ass too ;) But i got no real sc there.

Yeah I usually have str/con dex/qui and haste up. Sometimes I'll throw up base str and dex if I need to deal with rangers.

I also got murdered before 48 in thid because I autotrained stealth. Procs also made a huge difference. Thanks for coming back and dinging me rr4 tonight though!

Thx a lot Mavec, and thx to all! I've a question. Which RAs should I take for good rvr/bg? at 2L2, 3L2 and 4L2? Bye, you're great!

I went in this order LW1/MoS2/Purge2/MoP3 at 4L0

Gonna respec to LW1/MoS2/Purge3 at 4L5 then get MoP back up asap. You can always go for viper instead of course.

What I did was stick around bridges/ramps where stealthers/solos tend to congregate. If a group was coming by I'd jump off the bridge or just do my best to get away and avoid attention even with 16/20 stealth.

If other stealthers train stealth/high CS they are going to gimp their weapon/env to do so. There were a number of times I got Perf/CD'd waited it out and just beat them down afterwards. Can also purge the CD stun and enervating and beat them right away. Just knock them out of stealth asap so they can't perf you and the fights over in most cases.
