Hello everybody.

As one of the old creators of the Seraphin d'Althea Guild, i would like to make it shine again in a new way. For those who don't know us, we were the only french RvR guild when Agramon was up. Guild was created 2 years ago. For those who know us and would like to flame for any reason, i ask them to think, breathe and come back later. I'm almost the only one still playing.

That's why i'm looking for players who want to join the guild but i won't take everybody. Only lvl 50 or near will be accepted and i'm looking for decent players. What mean decent? Just players who are able to listen (read?) and learn, who can play with their brain. I don't care with rank thought.

The guild will have following rules :

RvR orientation : I want players willing to make rvr mainly. 8v8 is the main aim, that doesn't mean we won't participate to zerg for some realm raid or when it's really necessary. Soloer are welcome too but they need to care about the following rules.
Fairplay : There won't be any add on 8v8 neither on all fair fights. No solo/duo/small group ganking, no stealthers ganking (exceptions will come with those who perma add by the way... BA and so on...).
Honour : We're losing in a fair fight, then just die fighting, running away doesn't lead to anything.
Respect : No grey kill, no insults.

I won't hesitate to kick someone who breaks those simples rules.

Some more informations :

Guild will be international so main language is english.
Guild won't help you to stuff neither xp (i can manage some boss raids but no more).
No children. No QQ. No flame.

Even if this post looks like a little rough, all is about common sense and adaptated behavior to have fun and not break others fun. Respect everybody gameplay is the key.

It's offtopic but i'd like to wish you lots of luck with that. We had the same problem with MB one year ago, when many players left the guild and a few went inactive. We did the same and posted a thread here and got a few nice and friendly players. I hope to see your guildgroup in RVR soon.

I could make now a big list - but in the end getting rps of you, because you were the same like all other Mid guilds (in other words solo gankers).

I am highly interested in joining a midgard guild.

I am very new to DAoC, having played for a grand total of 11 days now. I am a struggling lvl 23 warrior who absorbs knowledge like a sponge. I am not only acceptable to all the requirements above, but would love to help the realm of Midgard grow into something more by emulating them.

I find myself very limited in what I do currently, having quit the initial newbie guild based on something another person told me a couple days into my adventures. They said I should quit and find another guild. Happily I did, thinking another would pick me up quickly ( or that he was offering ). Ive been guildless for 6 days now and would like to be a part of a bigger picture.

I'm just a simple fella trying to learn the ways of adventures and looking to the day I understand what being part of a realm means.

I am from Canada and while I am looking to ultimately RvR/PvP, I am as of yet, in NO position to do so because of old gear (Im still using some lvl 10-12 items). I hope to one day secure the work of some good crafters and fit myself into a solid position as a warrior that makes a difference.

You live up to it for sure ....

There is a difference between trying to kite and leave a fight... If you can't get it, i can't help you...

And btw, fair fight is also balanced fight... What wasn't really the case...

Great old guild of Uthgard. It would be good to see that guild cloak running in the frontiers again.
