what do you guys think about this spec for a 50 SB

50 envenom(for best poisons)
50 axe ( for higher dmg output and tyrs fury anytime bleed)
21 CS (PA ability)
30 stealth ( 30 should be high enough with gear to not be detected )

with RR abilities like viper , MOP , second wind included..

what u guys think? Sort of an assasin/hybrid spec

You don't need to spec 50 poison to use the best DoT.
35 spec + 11 from items + 4 from RR (RR5) will have the same effect and will save a lot of specpoints.
As a Shadowblade you need to spec LA for damage when you want to use 2 weapons.

hmm well only reason i wanted 50 in poison was cuz this char builder i was using said you get lifebane at 50 but didnt think about gear.. Forgot that gear can effect poison level usage all have to rethink this

35 poison + gear
30 stealth so i wont be a gimp stealther
50 axe For Tyrs Fury anytime bleed
35 LA For addes dps
21 CS , For PA

by the way what RR raises your poison skill never hear of such a thing?

or should LA go higher then my axe skill?


like 35 axe , 50 LA , 30 stealth , 35 envenom , 21 CS

50 LA is better, as you'll probably not use Axe style, so you'd rather max LA for better style dmg.

what is the benefit over going 50 LA vs 50 Axe? more offhand dmg = more over all dmg? or just the styles in general are better in LA?

Ok , i checked that other forum , nothing there i need to know , asking about builds im interested in.

So anyways i know the build im going for 50 now did some research and talked to a few 50 SBs in game and i came up with this..

31 Envenom
31 Stealth
31 Axe or sword not sure yet
44 CS
39 LA

not looking to be a full time shadowzerker so put most into CS for superior Combat styles IMO. LA styles are weak looking but do have utility and the added offhand dmg makes since. enough in axe to be decent with main hand. good stealth + gear will be fine... and the envenom at 31 will be easy to buff up with gear rr..

all go Viper 3 , MOP , Second wind probably.

It's a good spec .... for RR9

At low RR you dont have access to the 47 str/con debuff and lifebane at RR9 .... 31 envenom is to low - go for 35.
The same with Stealth go for 35 ... you will blink in RvR with that low Stealth.
Same for axe ... variance will be higher with 31 than with 35.
