So, we have a group of people split into 2 things: Castcap under 2 seconds and no castcap. Which one we have to trust?
The Site with the one lined description is given on every stickies. I do not know, if there is a castcap or not, thats why im asking. May the Staff have any statement of this? Will Uthgard get a castspeed Cap or not? Please clear words! |
There was never a 2 sec cap tbh, it's not even like that now. |
2 second cast cap, come on..
Spells like amnesia or resist debuffs have a 2s delve cast speed, you saying they won't even be influenced by dex or mota at all? |
Not a castcap at all, a castcap for Mastery of the Arts! Please read my post!
I wanna know if MoA CAN GO BELOW 2 seconds! Not Dex, not anything! Or lets say: dies MoA influence nearsight and amnesia casttime (2 seconds)? That would be almost instant! |
Yes it did. NS can be cast at faster than 1 second cast times, so ya it can be pretty close to instant. Btw, almost everything everyone thinks they know about how dex effects cast speeds is wrong. Exactly how dex effects cast speeds is not totally known, but suffice to say, each point of dex is not equal, and that inequality is unequal across difference spells; http://betavnboards.ign.com/daoc_genera ... 2618638/p1 that links provides some testing regarding dex and cast speeds. "(2.2 sec) Tested with 2.2s greater heal 382 dex = 95.2 sec 375 dex = 95.2 sec 374 dex = 94.8 sec ---------------------------- Breaking point ---------------------------- 373 dex = 99.4 sec 371 dex = 99.5 sec 368 dex = 99.6 sec ---------------------------- Breaking point ---------------------------- 367 dex = 110.3 sec" ^^^ that's a funky equation |

The stuff in that topic is either something newly implemented on Live, a new bug or the testing is flawed. I can atest with 100% certainty that there were no noticable "break points" before.
