Greetings!

So i only recently heard about this server and very eager to get into some vintage DAOC but it's been so long since i played and i don't remember much.

I enjoy PvE alot so i'm looking for a class that can solo decently but also has a use in PvE groups. On midgard ofc.

Any help/advice will be very much appreciated.

Shaman
- always will find groups if u are in the mood (PvE & RvR)
- can solo well with his DOT's / Disease + Endu (kite big amounts of mobs solo ^^) (RvR/PvP & PvE [PvE= usually meant as Player vs Enemy = Monster/Mob])

Skald
- can solo aswell (PvE - with the lvl 18 taunt style u nearly never loose endu + songs for regging)
- Speed in PvP is nice
- With different RA spec good for solo & group (Anger of the goods, Speed of Sound = good group RA's but good for solo aswell)
- Melee damage more or less ok for PvE
- In RvR: no damage dealer but still a good rupter

Bonedance
- lahmest PvP class ever but never the less very successful due to the instant lifetap on the suppression line (Pets not implemented)
- PvE groups are not that easy to find (caster need mana and tank groups level much better)
- Is able to level solo well Dot + Insta Life Tab
- No problem to find RvR groups (BD does more or less good damage and is a good rupter)

nevertheless, dont forget your friendly tinderboxes from the neighborhood.

In addition: RvR concerning: Supporters love you if you spec low (if any points) in parry, so that you can push them with speed 5 :D

If u like to duo, you will like thanes or warriors for being able to protect and taunt, vice versa they will most likely love your ameliorating melodies RA.

I'm not sure whether it's a good composition. Mana regen is a nightmare in PvE, and for the RvR, BDs have only the root to CC.

Not hard, just...long. :P

BDs is a lame class, not doubt, but it gets quickly quite boring to play. (spamming lifetap every 4 sec is not exacly a rich gameplay in my book)

Do not expect them anytime soon for all I know.
