so been thinkin about my OF RA spec...

firstly im a shadowzerk spec 65 LA 52 axe 50 stealth 50 venom, no CS

here's what i kinda want to do for my 5L1 spec

mopain3 - 10 points
aug quick 2 - 4 points
dodger 2 - 4 points
mos 2 - 4 points
lw 1 - 1 point
see hidden - 8 points
purge - 10 points

im under the impression this gives me:

15% critical bonus
+/- 8% evade chance increase
increased stealth movement and detection
insta purge once every 30 minutes

am i off about anything here? i am new to OF RA and would love some feedback. perhaps rain of annihilation would be stronger than purge to counter ranger's avoid pain? do RA spec damage adds stack with damage add charge?

You need Aug Dex2 to unlock Mastery of Pain.

I'm not sure how popular or how much of a boost old Mastery of Stealth was it might not be very worthwhile.

i guess the three RA every SB will have are:
1. purge
2. see hidden
3. tireless I or II (no free tireless anymore)

then you can spec dodger for defense or MoP/DR for offense, both with pre-required aug RA.

so: for 4L9
purge
see hidden
tireless I
aug dex II
mop II
DR II
aug qui
dogder II

thanks for the feedback, very useful infos. vangonaj also pointed out to me that MOS is on a different points table as well. it starts at 3 points instead of 1, so mos2 is 9 points :(

also remember MOS is purely movement speed, not stealth detection

In low rr mos can be only waste of points. And for mos 2 you must spec 9 points. Mos 1= 3 points, mos 2= 6 points. I think is better go dodger if you are norse or aug st if you are valkin or kobold.

& what for Crit blades?
furthermore no purge for me due to being unriable anyhow, so what should one take in its place then?

i wonder what you do against long stuns without purge when there's no viper to do the damage and no vanish to get away before the fatal hit. classes like warden, reaver, merc, bm tear you in pieces during this 9sec.

it's only 10 points and it's worth the 10 points.
if you solo (like i always do), you'll have to search for inc anyway and if it's not up, then you'll have to risk something.
if you run mpk->amg all the time, you surely can leech rp without it. :P

mmh perhaps, but still very long timer anyhow, and I doubt that you'll get much trouble with viper NS, they have the same ungodly long 30min timer ...

furthermore BS has instant stun & PA follow up has stun too, only stun that would be impossible to get out of would be anytimer stun like slam, but I'm not keen on killing armsman.

But my question remains, what about crit blades?
(my race is kobbie so no need for to much additional dex, but with those preq. i'm geussing your obliged to get it -_-" )

from the infos given here i've revised my plan a bit. this is only 39 points, i have 41 currently. i think from here i'll save up 4 more points and spec MoPain 3, then into rr6 and rr7 start working on MoStealth and MoArms. i think if i switched to a 4.0 left and specced MoArms in rr6 or so i could be doing a lot extra damage.

See Hidden - 8 points
Purge - 10 points
AugDex 2 - 4 points
AugQuick 2 - 4 points
Tireless 2 - 4 points
Dodger 2 - 4 points
MoPain 2 - 4 points
Long Wind 1 - 1 point

I like your shadowzerker axe spec alot Astealoth, my only concern is with the server reverting to of ra and 1.69, will this include the infamous LA nerf? Most Shadowblades seem to say their damage and overall performance was really weak compared to Infs/Nightshades after the LA nerf of 1.62 or something.

Does the 50 LA spec go along with the LA changes in 1.62 or is it a Uthgardt special coding?

we are going from 1.80 to 1.69 - both include the 1.62 patch

You guys seem to be forgetting that infiltrators can get the after-evade-9-sec-stun at 1.69. So purge might not be the worst thing to get.
