------------------------------------------------

The Next Scheduled Midgard Dragon Raid:

TBA

------------------------------------------------

Raid Rules:

- Listen to raid leader instructions.

- Raid is open to everyone level 45+.

- Bring level 35+ tinderboxes if you have some available.

- Meet in West Skona with some time to spare. It is nice to leave at 2pm sharp.

- Only mesmerize or root mobs on the way to the dragon lair.

- If you become stick lost or have a link dead member in your group on the way to the lair, say it as quickly as possible. We wont turn back to retrieve someone who is many thousands of units behind.

- Do not go away from keyboard within line of sight of the dragon. If you must go away from keyboard please move out of line of sight from the dragon and away from your group mates.

- Support should use smallest heals available. Over healing draws extra aggro. If you're having trouble managing your over heals you should stop healing when the person taking damage is at 80%-90% health.

- People in groups designated as adder groups should not heal people from the main group(s) or attack the dragon unless asked to do so. The job of the adder group is to stay on the pad in the dragon's lair and make sure the scaled messengers don't get away. If the scaled messengers get away they come back as level 60ish mobs.

- If you have the dragon's aggro you must face the dragon away from the healer camp.

- Mind all stares and area attacks/stuns from the dragon. The dragon announces all events in the main chat window. If you get a stare move behind the dragon and out of line of sight if possible. If a person with dragon aggro gets a stare or an area attack is initiated, everyone should move away from the dragon.

- At the end of a successful raid all loot is /random 100. Only one item shall be given per person until everyone left has one item. If everyone left has one item, everyone can random again.

------------------------------------------------

Hib has or had weekly raids too.

Mid had had daily Dragon Raids fyi, but as the day had come were Mids started becoming lazy and not going to Raids any longer most of the Dragon Slayers stopped doing raids :-P

On the other hand it's summer and there are hot girls (and maybe boys for all the ladies) outside so RL > DAoC :-P

Ace

We wish to leave to the dragon hort at a reasonable time. The raid will be open to anyone level 45+. Loot will be /random 100 at the end. I will likely be going on my pac heal and Esme will probably go on her aug heal so we will need some experienced tanks for the main group.

As always pay attention to the stares and instructions from BG leaders and everything will go well. If you get a stare and you are afk you can fail the raid!

*bump*

Ace is right many ppl enjoy the Weather outside atm
so i hope we can gather enough people but we will see

I'm looking foward to this raid. For me, weekdays 8pm is easier to manage then weekend latenight. I'd be glad to join with my aug-healer.

Sadly i can't offer anything different, except a lvl49 hunter. But i cant imagine a low rr hunter could be useful. Maybe bowpull the messenger hounds? :P

That was some mindless fun and I'll be back for the next one. You guys did a great job leading it, and I was pleasantly surprised at how mature all the participants were in the raid. It would be great to see this become a regular, weekly event so that people will just assume a raid will be happening on Midgard at a set time each week.
