I have an up and coming skald I'm working on and had a few questions about weapons.

I was wondering if most people just go hammer due to the low endurance cost or if it had other benefits over sword/axe?

Its been a long time since I played and recall some skalds going 50sword/43songs is this viable at all or is the 50 rear positional not worth it on here?

With Hammer you get a snare aswell. Which is more important than the endu costs imo :P

with slash dmg you do neutral vs albs and xtra vs hib druids
with crush you do less dmg on both druid and clerics
-> casters doesn't matter

the only time crush> slash is when you fight vs a bard or reinf hib in general

Skald damage is crap anyway no matter which spec you use.
Hence hammer back snare beats all other weapon types cause you can peel better, which is kind of the main task for a skald in melee.
