Task Helper

My guild decided to roll up on Midgard after a long, long hiatus from DAoC. So, I threw together a little googledoc file to help them find Task NPC's within the city. It's just a list of the Task NPC's with a link to their location on the map. A simple up/down arrow signifies if the NPC is upstairs or downstairs in a particular location.

I thought someone else out there may find some use for it. Let me know if you find any broken link or if something is missing. It's still a little bit of a work in progress.

I saw that after I had already created my googledoc - it's nice for sure. This is more specialized and purely only good for tasking, but I like the fact that it's a googledoc and easily accessible anywhere.

Sorry for n00bish question .....what kind of task you talking about and where i could start? Also for exemple....could i start them at lvl 10? And also those tasks can be done till lvl 20 as normal kill tasks?

You can start them at level 1.

Go to any of the npc's on the list and /whisper task just like for kill tasks. They'll give you a task to complete which is to simply deliver an item to another one of them. They can be done up until level 20.

Though I think they've been fixed and you can only do a certain amount per level.

Map is still useful for that one you do per level, or for crafting.

I was doing few kill tasks last 2 days and it seems now you can do just certain % of lvl with tasks (reloging to reset tasks counter don't work anymore).

Also i found out that if you group and get that % of lvl with just killing mobs you still cant do tasks anymore (for exemple...if there is 70% of lvl cap for tasks and you already got 80% with killing mobs, you cant get task, no matter if you didn't do any task in that lvl yet).

...any1 had same problems?...or this is what should work now?

Yeah, seems like they've made it work intentionally this way. I wouldn't know for sure though as I haven't been here very long.
