Hello, now that with my skald i hit level 40, i feel the need to find a guild.
I left hib because i had to play the style of the people that i met, and most of the time i find myself killing greys, exping people, soloers and even chain killing (persecuting) someone who was simply tasking or fetching ingredients for crafting. Well, actually i did not, i just watched, but my group did.
That is actually no fun to me. But i had no choice, since with a druid it's hard to do rvr alone
I decided then to roll again (had one on uth 1.0) a skald, so to be free to roam the frontiers and engage others (possibily) at my leisure, keeping open the possibility of playing grouped.
So, it wouldn't be bad to find a guild made of people with a similar taste, but in game there are really too many names that is really impossibile to enquire about it one by one!

Is anybody aware of the existance of a guild with similar standars here on Mid?

If yes, can you point out its name please? :-P

Please, refrain to comment about my game vision, i'm not here to start a debate about how this game should be played.
Take my words as a mere description of my personal taste and the research for someone else who might have a similar one! :-P
On Uthgard 1.0:
Totenpfeil <Ranger> - Vlath <Hunter> - Toten <Eldritch> - Totentanz <Skald>
On Uthgard 2.0:
Totenzweig <Druid> - Totentanz <Skald>

Can't help with your search, but wanted to compliment on the neutral way you formulated your post and accepted playstyle of others (just stated it wasn't for you...which is fine).

Very reasonable and mature way to look at it, if more people would accept that people play differently without going overboard we would all be better off

PS: i then saw you are totentanz, who broke discussion with someone yesterday, ridiculing him for asking how to "join pvp". Was quite wierd because that doesn't fit with your forum presence at all. Just a bad day yesterday?

Yesterday i hadn't any discussion and didn't ridicule anybody at all. Maybe you had a bad/busy day and wasn't fully able to follow the subject. ;)
I simply adviced a new player, which i had just helped telling him where to look for some crafting tutorials on Jord /br by the way, that he should have learned the basics of the game before thinking about pvp, but he threw a tantrum and kept on chain asking about how to "join pvp" (which is not something you join on daoc), and so, i simply underlined that the incorrect way he asked about it simply demonstrated that probably there were more important things to know about the game before "joining" pvp. That's all.
The situation was very clear. No discussing or ridiculing at all.
Now let's get back on topic pls. ;)

Hi bud.. we talked last night while in hulk grp in df :) I think our guild could be a good match.. euro timezone guild and alliance, casual, friendly, good humor, not too big. You can solo in frontiers all you want, or find grp in guild or in alliance as you please. We have some crafters in guild who can prob help you out with temp, or else there is always someone in alliance

Hit me up ingame on Sath, Sathi, Sathao, Satho etc.. just /who sath really ^^

oh hello Sathi,

Yeah Immortals of Valhalla is recruiting and is pretty laid back, made of a core of people with good values.
We're spread over both NA and EU timezones.
