Hello mids, old school daoc player here. It's been soooo long since I played daoc (except live about a year ago). I started with daoc during launch. It is so ironic because I was at the computer store one day and was looking for a new game. I had NO idea what an mmorpg was. I picked up daoc because it looked interesting. I was 17 or so at the time. I'm 35 Now! Lol man talk about losing yourself. Sad to see the live version so detracted from its core. Hence why me, and my brother, came here. I didn't even know this place existed. When I played live a year ago to retry it, I lost all interest after being handheld to 50 in a single day. Then seeing RvR ruled by /use items and firing off weapon and armor spells. Gah made me so sad.

My bro and I played pretty hardcore for the first year and then casually off and on for a long time. We quit, like many others, when ToA released.

So now we are here starting anew. I rolled a SB and he a hunter. Probably our favorite combo we ever rolled. However very lonely as no-one wanted us in groups lol. Highly doubt that's any different here :P If anyone wants to donate some lowbie crafted gear/weapons that'd be great! If not it's cool, we know what we were getting ourselves into. Man I forgot how brutal it was though! Lol

I work through the weekend but we get on when we have free time. Me being the breadwinner with a family doesn't leave a ton of free time like I used to have. Miss those responsibility free years.

You can find me on Numatic, bro is Krikkrik. If any guilds out there have room that'd be great too. Hope to see y'all in game :)

Welcome. I always thought stealthers were vital. On the Alb side, there is a stealth community that feeds superb intel to the realm. I think you will actually enjoy a sneak more here because the population and casual grouping is dwindling. You wont need to wait around for groups and such. Good call!

Is there a reason for the population decrease or just simply people moving on as per usual?

welcome aboard friend

I woldnt fret that much about population, for example there was enough pop for me to level a mid stealther in the last month to 50,and mostly have no trouble finding a group. and it was a fun experience, grouping all the way as a melee dpser. no need to solo once in my journey to 50.

also from what I can see in the herald are that all 3 realms have a good presence in rvr and the relics and keeptakes are frequently changing hands enough to warrant that there is life in RvR at endgame.

grab your toon, level up and get out there, have fun
