I just gotta know if you take another weapon skill besides axe would it lower the dmg your left axe would do? or would the damage be the same if you took say hammer or sword?
If you cover your ass....with the same old song....you might as well be farting with a walkman on.<br>

answer :
it doesn´t matter if you go hammer/leftaxe or axe/leftaxe . no difference for your LA damage wise.

--> mainhand weaponchoice won´t affect your LA damage .
you have to spec the weapontype to raise your minimum damage variance anyway.

-------------

i was bored , so here is a small guide . maybe it helps someone out there.

-----
intro:
i´m gonna share my thoughts from a "powergamer" point of view . it is completly up to you if you want to do your own thing - just don´t complain about your damage if you´ve rolled a dwarf zerker .

LA/la = left axe
offhand = left axe slot
mainhand = mainhand slot (hammer,sword,axe)
-----
race:
all zerker weapons are 100% str based - so every other race than troll is gimped.
-----
weapons:

hammer:i would recommend a hammer/leftaxe combo.
weapon speed is usually better on hammers anyway and a low endu anytimer will become handy for pve. backsnare is another nice tool for smaller groups.

sword styles don´t offer anything useful to a zerker. why should you prefer a 0.8 growthrate backstyle that doesn´t do anything relevant over
a 0.9 chain into 1.x follow ups ?

axe is pretty much the only option next to hammer . just 2 "useful" styles here . frontstyle (with the same growthrate as doublefrost - medium endu) and the lvl50 follow up). both got a nasty bleeding ,but that makes it even less attractive for group rvr.
-----
swingspeed:
a thing on weaponspeed : i recommend both slow weapons on a troll for maximized damage output. it is very likely that you will have a aug healer with you during rvr , so using a fast offhand will just lower your damage without raising your dps . can go further into that if needed.

for soloing a slow mainhand/fast offhand will be better.

quickness also affects your swingspeed. either cap it or put nothing on it on your sc . depends on your playstyle. i would go no-qui no matter what.
faster swingspeed = more damage over time , but less damage per hit.

LA mechanics work different than other dual wielders . the offhand always swings.the swingspeed is defined by a "middle value" between the mainhand and the offhand. means that if you got a 4.2 mainhand and a 2.4 offhand your unmodified swingspeed is 3,3 . this is a free haste effect.

but that´s not your actual delay between swings . you can lower your swingspeed with :
a) higher quickness
b)hastebuff
c) celerity

but you cannot swing faster than 1.5 seconds (hardcap). if you would go below that delve you just loose damage without gaining anything. so a slower weapon-combination would make more sense in that case.
-----
spec:
mainhand : raises your minimal damage (on LA styles too)
LA: raises your maximal damage (on LA styles only + your offhand hits)

it´s a bit more complex though.unless you wanna go pure solo then there is only one viable spec. it´s been around for ages and has proven itself.

50 weapon
50 la
28 parry
-
if you want something exotic you can lower weapon and raise parry - keep in mind that parry is pretty much useless for grp rvr , but will become handy in a 1on1 situation.

36weapon
50la
45parry

i´m not going to explain idiotic things like 2h zerker . its just ridiculous how people always seem to find a way to gimp their toon. if you want to use 2h for whatever reason then the 50/50/28 spec should be it.
-----
styles :

snowsquall (29 LA backstyle with 2 follow ups) is your bread and butter stylechain. you should use the complete backchain whenever you get the opportunity. simply because of the insane growthrates + proc at the 3rd style.

doublefrost (34 LA,anytimer): if you swim in endu(sham with yellow endu+) and can´t get your backchain off then you might use it. not endu efficient at all if you don´t have a sham around use something else. damage is above the taunt and below the backchain.

provoke (15 hammer, anytimer): very low endu style . crappy damage.

conquer (29 hammer, backstyle): nice utility backsnare with ok damage.

i´m not going further into reactionary styles . afterevadecombo can be nice. but not relevant for grp rvr - just a solo thing . just like the after parry styles.
-----
solo vs grp rvr

either all or nothing . trim your toon to be good at one aspect and stick to it. its pointless to do group rvr with solo ra´s .
-----
useful ra´s

passive:
determination 4-5
mastery of pain 3-4
aug. str. 2-4
longwind 0-2 (depends on sham , 2 as solo + endu-over-time pot means perma sprint)

active:
charge 1-2 (maybe even 3 later)
purge 1-2 (as "high rr" , won´t have points spare for it otherwise)
ignore pain 2 (just for soloing)
------

that´s pretty much it 8) . not gonna update it - got other stuff to do.
