Wouldn't you rebel if someone over took your government? Would you not start taking out puppets?

GM's were on break from running guild. It was holidays... This was posted in the Legend Guild Forum it was updated when some of us will be back for Xmas! Some after Thanksgiving! . We are also notified when someone posts. Rasta did a communications black out and didn't any communications of any type on anything only in Guild Chat. He knew 2 gm's were out of town. He also knew Spais lost his account. Yes he had other GM accounts but it was not a threat since his main one is gone and the GM's at the time doubted he was going to pull a knife on himself and the guild and take it out with wild radical what ever.....

So if your 1 of many GM's and put there to give support for others who are going away. You think its right to take the guild that someone else help make and support?

He did not communicate with anyone. I and others checked the forums, no complaints no problems in Nov Dec Jan, everything was looking ok.

NOTHING was said of a problem or a want. He didn't even BOTHER to sud-jest a change. He didn't even email saying "Hey Im going to change the color of the guild house" or what ever. He just DID WHAT HE WANTED when he knew EVERYONE was gone who could oppose him.

And your telling me this is not childish? This is greatness? To steal someone elses hard work? This is something to admire and respect?

HE did not tell anyone what he was doing on the GUILD FORUM he did not email or IM! You guys have blind faith in a person/player who didn't even start the guild, didn't even support the guild.

Regardless, the facts are Rastah was put in place to help out others who needed a break. He was put there by Spais, and later he kicks Spais other account, plus any other GM's and ignores the rules that he said he would uphold as being a active GM.

Yeah Rastah is a great guy... If we need to give credit to Rastah then its because he stolen someone elses hard work!

Hold him up high, and pat him on the back for working hard in stealing a guild.



Yeah its just a game, and only a game, but the only game that requires/takes allot of time. Have someone p i s s on your time and energy and you let me know if its "childish"

Here's what I know.

I was one of the GM's

I said I was going to be gone for a couple of months over xmas cuz I had a lot of family shizte going on.

Legend has/had a forum where people could post questions or opinions.

When I got back to playing DAOC I found my GM character booted from the guild. So I checked the guild forums. Nothing was mentioned. A few days later I get an email from the form saying that Spais posted a message about how he was kicked from the guild.

I looked for posts from the other GM's.. widowmaker and Rastah, but didn't see anything. Later Widow said that he was kicked as well.

Legend has/had a forum by which the members could communicate. And the GM's used it to discuss direction and structure of the guild.

My issue is that Rastah took it upon himself to remove all the other GM's without telling any of us. He could have posted in the forums, and we all would have gotten an email. If spais was out of control he, or anybody, could have told us. But nobody bother to keep the guild leadership informed. DAOC isn't my life, so I don't spend everyday glued to the monitor playing it, but the Guild is/was important to me, and I would have found the time to logon to address what ever grievances were made. Making a crafting account was Rastah's idea. Changing the rank structure was also Rastah's idea. But I guess that wasn't enough. Instead he and maybe 2 other people decided that they should run legend themselves.

I have spend time and energy building this guild, and I think I have earned a break. If you didn't like how Legend was run then why didn't all of you start your own guild. Legend has spawned quite a few guilds, and we would have supported you.

My guess is you didn't have the numbers, and so took over legend instead.

I'm not angry.. more disappointed that the people I played with could be so petty. But I guess I am not surprised.. at least on Rastah's account. I have had to put him in check many times for his raciest and antisemitic comments. Oddly enough, each time Spais defended him saying he didn't mean it.

I guess I am ok that Legend is dead, sad to see it go, but it's glory days are behind it.

Unfortunately the kinda thing that Rastah and Spais pulled not only ruins a guild, but can ruin a game for everybody. You want to pick sides? Fine, but understand that Hib is a small sand box and we are all going to have to play nice together if we are going to have any fun.

I'll never get the time and money I invested back, but maybe over time I'll get my friends back.

P.S. we already had guild colors... if you had checked the guild forum you would know that.
