I guess it is time to level in the realm I have never leveled in before.
Vercinge, Vercingi are me. Animist for coin and tailoring and Druid spellcrafter respectivly Just a question about the druid, is 36 regrowth 42 nurture a common spec similar to the cleric or are there other specs more effective or popular or in demand for RvR? |

The following two specs are the most basic and most common, similar to cleric.
42 nurture/33 regrowth/7 nature This is my current spec. Speaks for itself. Yellow specs with red int, good heals and 2nd pet which still dies in one cast or one blow from a tank but the few swings a healer or caster needs to melee it down, as it rupts even at lvl 7, are valuable seconds that you won for your grp. 40 nurture/35 regrowth/9 nature Pretty much the same except you trade in red int for a better grp insta. Other possible specs are: 44 nurture/31 regrowth/4 nature You get red s/c and int aswell as red heat resist but you give up a lot of healing power without the yellow major & greater heal. Could be considered at low rr due to lower mana costs but you should really go for mcl2/sere2 asap and get 33regrowth, you really want them bigger heals and red s/c isn't a world of difference. 36 nurture/ 33regrowth/22 nature Tri-spec. You'll have only blue d/q and haste but you gain the stun pet which can be quite useful and a 38sec ae root which isn't too shabby on non-det/stoic classes. Favorable if you're playing a bit more offensive. 12 nurture/ 33regrowth/39 nature Nature spec! Your buffs are louzy so your grp will have to run with charges or ae buffs like in mid but you get some cool gadgets. An ae insta root, single insta root, a 1 minute ae root, and a strong pet which should be decent but due to a buggy code does little damage here. Pick-up grps won't love you for it but it could work in set groups who know how to play with a nature druid. I wouldn't advice it if you're not familiar with hib rvr. All in all you can't go wrong with the upper 2 specs. 75% of druids are specced like this and are the most straight forward. Tri-spec or even nature could be fun and puts you as a druid in a somewhat different role however in pug climate not always very comfortable. There are ofc other tri-specs and nature specs. These are just suggestions. |

I think the 36 regrowth, 40 nuture, 4 nature, (exact copy of the cleric I was working on,) looks appealing

36 regrowth is useless on druid just get 35 :p
I'm currently trying this spec : 40nurture 33regrowth 14 nature which not so bad too and then you keep the yellow hast to be ok with buff with 2nd (39nurture) |
|
if you give up yellow haste (39 nurt) you can get the 30 second AE root too.

Yes it's a point.
IMO, it's not a good choice, the AE Root on uth is most of time used to interupt, by using an low ae root like that (higher than the 1st) you'll increase the imune root durability, which in my opinion is a bad choice. I think it's better to keep using the lvl4 one to CC, and then don't free imune a det5 enemies who was in range for more time. And same for that non-det5 classe, just because of this "quick" root duration which with Yellow/red resist do root so much :p |
