In past versions you couldnt create a char without adjusting them, but now the game does it for you if you dont edit the recommendation!

I heard last night that you can't change them after you create the character? Something along the line that you can go back and change them but they don't get saved. Is this correct?

You can only change them with a stone from the Dragons :)

It's ok that you didn't adjust the attributes, they are auto distributed evenly between the two or in some cases, 3 major stats that are important to your character. This is probably the smartest thing to do as you don't really want to weaken one area in favor for the other. However, the 2-3 points you adjust it are very minor in overall affect anyways.
